Simply winning our games isn’t going to be enough. Arsenal are not dropping a point and are likely to have a better goal difference. The 1-0 v Burnley wasn’t good enough.

Exactly, some loon on here threw a tantrum when i said 1-0 was a bad result but it was. It was the only game in our run in we should have won comfortably. Everton, Brentford, Palace, Bournemouth and Villa are tough fixtures to finish on and we'll be lucky to get maximum points never mind score plenty of goals.
Hopefully Fulham find some fucking guts and pride and get back into the game, but it looks unlikely so far.

we had to beat burnley by more than 1 goal, i said at the time it felt like a loss and people were having a go at me

We effectively dropped a point that day because we gave up a likely goal difference advantage and turned it into a likely goal difference disadvantage. We’d have only kept it in our hands if we beat them by 3 minimum, preferably 4+. People have been disagreeing with Opta calling it 70% in Arsenal’s favour but they’ve had it spot on. Probably 75% after today.

That Burnley result is going to look a bad one at the end of the season in my opinion, despite it being a win.

We had 28 shots that evening. Should have been 4 or 5.

Who would have thought a game with a win might cost us the league.

We lost the league because we aren’t ready and it’s Arsenal who have been that poor they couldn’t get it done when they should have with that squad and 6 years of building!
