This nearly gives me as much pleasure as seeing the welcome to Wrexham project crash as they have got away with murder concerning FFP. I will be cheering on the pies if not them then Grimsby please .

Yes I know it doesn't happen in Manchester and all good reasons for it but a number of Forest fans attend County games. I will be at the 2nd leg. against Chesterfield with my brother in law who is a County fan .

Out of interest how have Wrexham got away with FFP murder? Also why does it matter?

My view is that owners should be able to spend as much of their own money as they wish as long as they don't borrow that money against any assets of the club they own.

Probably down to people not liking their owners. We all love an underdog story until it turns out well and success follows. Then they're cunts....

Wonder if their over inflated sponsorship deals with the billionaire Done brothers Peninsula, based on their relationship developing property together with the Done brothers Salboy will ever see the light of day.

They were paying excessive wages in NL and this might upset some but it's an English league system so the likes of Newport ,Cardiff Swansea and Wrexham should be in their own national league. Also their owners want the best of both by wanting to enter both the Welsh cup and fa cup and trying to get European football by winning the Welsh cup so I do have a disliking for them.

Completely agree with owners spending what they want, but I think the point is that the rules should apply to all. Not Wrexham, United and Liverpool getting away with murder whilst everyone else complies.

We pay high wages. Fans of other clubs say we break rules. We say not.

Nothing you say above says anything about the breaking FFP rules a you implied in your original post. Their owners do get fabulous sponsorship deals because of their fame. I for one don't begrudge the them that.

I take it you might change your opinion of them if they get promoted at sometime and become another one of the American group who will side with united Liverpool Arsenal etc in premier votes. 6.9m in wages in the national league on 10;000 gates more than most league one sides. City have genuine wealth with substantial attendance revenue. We will see how their sponsorship deals start to play out if they start to struggle in the championship sponsors of their tv programme will start to become bored and the plug will be pulled.
