A disgraceful undermining of the Ticket Points system - again

Wigan was £35 once in 2006 at the most, all other games were below £30.

Bolton was £31 lower £38 upper the most we paid.

Blackburn was £35 at the highest.

These clubs went down in 2012 and 2103 and it became far more expensive to go to aways after that.
Remember when fans boycotted Wigan and Bolton away? It was that bad Dave Whelan apologised. Surely it was more than £35 then, but I’ll take your word.

Bolton away my ticket was £36 it was normally £31 lower tier but was forced to go upper as they said they were selling lower which was £8 less and had reduced prices due to the "boycott". They did in the end but too late.

Wigan there was no boycott mentioned until years later and it was exactly £35 as attached. Hardly any Wigan fans turned up or City fans, 1,900, but that was a 1245 telly game, and we only got 2,000 for Everton 3pm a few weeks later.

It was just a low demand game, and the fact it was £25 boxing day the year before meant all the casuals had already been.

Since the game the price went up to £40, and then £45n if you believe people on here.

As pointed out earlier in the thread by a fellow poster City have contravened their own T&C's for Season Tickets/Cup Schemes. Why ?
Because the 1894 group turned them down regards relocating en mess to the new North Stand, now they need another large group of fans ideally with a large contingent who don't currently attend regularly to help fill the new 7000 seats. Watch this space now the club have shafted their own fans and cosied up to the OSC they will follow it up with some form of incentives for filling that stand.

I have a suspicion that they aren’t real rag fans. A real one wouldn’t be seen dead in our souvenir shop. In the mid 90’s my boss unfortunately was a rag who typically lived down south and had barely set foot in the dump. I can’t even remember why he supported them when he lived in South London. At the time I worked in offices overlooking Lancs cricket and he asked me if I could, in my lunch hour, pop to the rags souvenir shop to buy his young son a replica top. I refused point blank.
Same here whenever family members have asked would I take them to Cold Traffors or their shop. No way Jose. P
I’ve heard she gets her tickets from the Barcelona branch of the Man City supporters club. Joke

Maybe she's taking over from Pep, fuck Maresca & Co.

Here’s another avenue where people jump the queue… City’s ticket partners:

And other ticket sites:

Are these^ why we’ve only got 27,800 tickets for this final when we’ve had 30,786 last two seasons and were given even more in the end against Palace?

So if somethings clearly not right/ unfair you just accept it? This is the entirely on the club and is something that can be changed.

I haven’t seen any entitlement from the posters asking these reasonable questions. Why should the OSC be entitled to final tickets for members who don’t attend games?

If the ticket policy worked properly this wouldn’t be an issue and fans wouldn’t miss out
I like u view of things , i really do , ur post just needs ‘ imagine’ from Lennon and yoko playing in the background !

Did anyone pissed off with the SC allocation for the final actually bother going to the semi last week? Just asking
I went to the semifinal and have already for my ticket for the final but I’m disappointed with this for those it will affect most.

That includes those who didn’t go to the semifinal because they saved it for the final due to not being able to afford two trips to Wembley in 3 weeks.

FFS, give this boring shit a rest!

How many more times do you want and other people to repeat this?

It’s been done to death.

1894 is made up by individual City fans.

As such, we all have a choice to move to the expanded North stand or not.

I’m not moving from SSL1 to NSL2.

I have explained why.

1894 in conjunction with the club are helping City fans who want to move to the North stand.

You're probably right but I can only speak from personal experience in our SC Branch. There are plenty going to the Cup Final who we rarely see during the season. They have had lots of opportunities to go to cup ties and at low prices too but very few have done so. I would be amazed if we see many of them next season, North Stand incentives or not. People like that have been given priority over regular supporters and that's wrong. Contravening the Club's own rules is also wrong. If any of us did so they'd be quick to cancel our ST'S.

It wasn't a dig at 1894 mate, more a view on why the club have now prioritiesed OSC members for first access on cup final tickets and I beleive it's partly due to the club looking to use thise people to fill that stand as their first option of 1894 anchor tenants didn't work and that decision was entirely 1894s as a collective and on an individual basis own right to make. What other motivation is there from the clubs side for this crazy decision on cup final tickets??

Think you may be looking too deep.
Semi final not selling out was enough for them to think, quick sales needed.
In that regard, they’ve been successful.
Money talks.
Unfortunately.
