Will we win the league this season? No

Totally agree. We are better going toe-to-toe than when we come up against low block bus parkers.

Nah mate, we want them safely qualified for CL. Today there was zero low block. If they are qualified and Have a European final in a few days they may do a raffle to the fans to play in the first team, or they may not even turn up. We want them checked out and then feast.

Spurs result will mean Hammers will fight tooth and nail against the Goons.

True dat. Plus a point isn't a disaster for them too. If they had to win, they'd probably be more reckless defensively and therefore get picked off. Hopefully they will be dogged defensively. Can't see them getting anything personally but as you said, the spurs result should add an element of fight to them.

You've just contradicted yourself.

Goal difference doesn't matter but we have to win convincingly? How do we do that; score lots of goals for example?
No, it’s not a contradiction… points matter more than goal difference. If Arsenal gets more points than City goal difference is irrelevant. Besides, scoring lots of goals isn’t goal difference. You mustn’t concede either.

No, that's goals scored. That's why i'm specifically on about GD, which will be crucial if Arsenal and City both win every one of their games and finish on 85 pts.

Are you new to this?

To win the league from here will be tough, but we all hope we do.

Gooners still have Burnley at home so they will score 3, 4 or 5 against them.

In my opinion the only way we win the league, is to win every game until the end and hope the Gooners drop points at WHU or Crystal Palace.

There is another way however starting tomorrow by putting 6 past Everton........unfortunately that ain't happening anytime soon imo and I'll settle for a 2-1 win and 3 points in the bag. CTID

They're unlikely to be dropping points at Palace. Conference League final is three days after that - arguably the biggest game in Palace's history.

Only consolation is that Palace shouldn't be too interested against us either.

Football is never that easy to predict. Maybe Arsenal score multiple goals against Burnley maybe they only score one like we did. There are always surprises.

It's easy to look at this exclusively through a City lens. That's just how football fans' brains work - I can be as guilty as anyone. But Arsenal fans will no doubt be saying similar:

Sunderland (away) - 94th minute equaliser cost two points
Villa (away) - 95th minute winner cost a point
Man Utd (home) - 87th minute winner cost a point
Wolves (away) - 94th minute equaliser cost two points

Plus losing at Liverpool when they were the better team and drawing 0-0 at Forest who were in a terrible run of form at the time.

It happens to all clubs during the ebb and flow of a season.
I replied to someone talking about one moment from our season being title defining.

West Ham are back into the relegation zone just as Arsenal head to West Ham. That has become a difficult looking fixture for Arsenal.

West Ham v Arsenal is 24 hours before Spurs v Leeds so this means that West Ham will go into this game thinking that they must take something from the game.

Looking at the table, it’s a must not lose game for West Ham. A point isn’t great, but it potentially keeps them in touch of Forest and Spurs. I think Forest need to be careful their Europa adventure doesn’t get in the way of staying in the league. They’ve got some tricky games left. I think a point today perhaps keeps them just about safe.

At this stage, it's impossible to predict how things will unfold. Football has a way of defying logic when you least expect it to do so
Its an unusual end to a season as we still have 4 teams left in european competition and difficult to gauge how these games plus the last few games in PL will go.
Villa look like qualifying for CL via league position but could also be playing europa final a few days after playing us last game of season.
Palace play both ourselves and arsenal before a probable conference league final. That is a competition where the winner automatically qualifies for the europa and Palace really want that after being barred from it this season.
Forest took their place and now Forest could qualify for CL next season.

It’s you who said we have to score lots of goals. Are you new to this?

We do, what part of this aren't you getting?
If Arsenal win all their games, and City win all their games, given our GD is less than Arsenal's, we will lose the title on GD, so we need to make sure our GD is better than theirs.

Tis better to have and not need than need and not have.

If we get the opportunity in any of the games starting today we need to really go for goals because with Saka back and them in bouyant mood they'll score a hatful against Burnley and possibly Palace and Hammers too. Logic says we wont be be able to do that against Villa or Bournemouth as wins for us will probably be narrow victory's. We didn't realise this situation at the time but that 1-0 against Burnley might really cost us. Having said all that Footballs a funny old game and anything can happen.

Yes this race feels alot different because we could win all our remaining games and still miss out, I also have a weird depressing scenario in my head regarding would I rather just miss out on the last day and lose on GD or drop points before that and lose against them on points and the title already be wrapped up on the last day of the season , Itd have to be the latter for me personally, I hope we win every game and bag a fair few on the way to ease the anxiety.

Small 'keeper, shots from distance, like Kepa or Ryan, Pickford is more susceptible.
