A 1-0 may well prove to have been enough, come the end of the season, but at what point - either in terms of number of games remaining, or in terms of a GD deficit to Arsenal - would you start to think otherwise?
We’ve got 3 home games to change the GD. Everton and Bournemouth away just win. The games at Etihad are different

Even with the goal difference factor I'd bite your arm off for a 1-0 win but think it has dropped points written all over it

Strangely though - and although I don't put much weight upon xG although many on here do - over the course of this season we have a slightly higher xG in away matches, than we do in home games. Near as dammit identical figures.

Putting extra emphasis on the home matches could backfire, with the crowd growing restless, especially if there should be an early goal conceded.

Always worries me when the team have extended rest. Seem to be lethargic. Even happened when we were at our peak. I’m a big advocate of playing twice a week at this stage of the season
Beat Everton and then your wish will come true.
Matches a-plenty from then on until the end of the season

They’ll be playing at least twice a week over the next month. They’ll be either super match fit or knackered. Time will tell.

Winning by 3 clear goals would be nice, but any win away to Everton will suffice.

I used to dread playing Everton, seems like they always had our number. Feels like it's flipped the past 5 years or so. Either way, tough place to play and they'll put up a fight. Think we win this but it won't be easy.
Always fancy Pickford to ship goals

I thought exactly the same, Bournemouth away is a very tough fixture they are no mugs
More the fact that we have to play it 3 days after the cup final is my concern. 2 away games in 3 days, including a big occasion like Wembley, is very draining and not good for preparation. Should play the "second" team even if it is a cup final but the melts will be out in force of we do and we lose it.
