But he's constantly making mistake at key moments. Mind you, Wu seems to have gone to pieces in the last few frames. Very nervous snooker at the moment.

He's taking too many risks. That can make for exciting snooker but, as you say, it's letting him down currently. Sometimes (and I'm sure it'll come with maturity and experience) he needs to do a Steve Davies and be prepared to grind wins out.
