This was a subjective offside decision and Oliver should have gone to a review as it’s his decision alone to decide

What is the point of allowing play to go on which we see every week, then raising flag when attacker touches the ball.

Are they saying, well a defender may have a bad touch playing the attacker on side.

This is basically officials deciding to play parts of a game without offside.

My understanding is that as Guehi made a pass back its a different phase of play so yes he was offside when the pass was made (that is clear as day) but once Guehi passes it then its a different phase of play so he isnt offside....I thought that the moment the goal went in before all the VAR waiting around

I understand that but why didnt the flag go up immediately before Guehi made the pass back. They only play on if the opponemt has the ball in goalscoring chance, otherwise the flag always goes up.

They don't need to - Guehi was in complete control of the ball, which makes it a fresh phase of play.

If he hadn't touched the ball it's offside, braindead as he knew that too.

At least a point puts pressure still on Arsenal to get a win at West Ham.

Never thought we were quite good enough to win the league but we are still hanging in there and a possible 2 cup wins will be a very good season.

Frustrating how many City players kept slipping today compared to Everton….this happens regularly plus we never look like scoring from the many corners we have.

Gonzalez didn’t have a bad game but the downgrade from Rodri is immense and it’s a position we need to strengthen for next season.

Doku has been fabulous this season but I’m afraid Semenyo on the other side is not at the level required

Not sure what on in that spell where we conceded the goals but we had become very careless and giving the ball away for fun in the ten minutes leading up to that spell…..this is where the experienced players need to take charge.

A couple of quality additions and we will be good for next season.
