9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

When the ball was fizzed at home by cherki and he tried to control it and instead it bounced uo from his foot and straight off his face sort of sums him up.

A very strange player. Not really a great football player but he obviously scores a lot of goals!

Assume he will be given Saturday off
If you had to design a footballer

A goal scoring machine

Never mind hold up play.
Just a machine that scores goal.
I bet you would end up with a machine that is very similar to this lad.
He's not a great footballer.
He's not got a great touch.
Or a good pass.
But as a forward.
As a player that was born to score.
As a player we signed to score goals.
He is the best around.
He's the best in the last 20 years
And he's one of the best ever.
Add to that he's a blue .
Just appreciate him.
Be thankful he plays for city

And that latest season includes a run of 4 gls in 18 games (1 in 9, depends how you want to cut it).

He might be in for a new high of 54 games in a season.

World cup counts in 2024/25 season, in almost every data/ stats provider.

With that said , Erling outscored Kun's best in City jersey (33 goals ,2016/17) in every single season since he came here.

His overall record against every Premier League side since he joined us.

I’m really hoping he gonna boost his goalscoring tally against the likes of Everton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Palace, and Villa—I need to see him boost those numbers by at least 10 goals.
Just do it.

Great finish from the only vertical ball played. However, his link up play was again poor and still shows no signs of consistent improvement.

Was given one chance and converted it superbly. What more can he do? Pressed well and also sprinted back multiple times to help stop counter attacks when others didn't bother. If the players behind him showed the same desire as he does we'd have won this league ages ago. We are letting him down, giving the best striker in the world 1 chance a game isn't acceptable.

Ridiculous. He's consistently ignored in the build up and invariably makes an aggressive positive move with the ball when he does get it which surprises the shit out of the defenders.
