So if the rules don't favor us you don't like the rules? He was in an onside position when Guehi made the horrible error.

If it was us given the goal in the same exact circumstance us attacking you'd be 100% okay with it.
We'd take it if we were given it, given that so manty of these seem to go against us and so would any fan of any other club. But the fact remains that when the ball was played in the first instance he's offside. The reaction from every player on the pitch, the lineman, the commentators, all knew it was offside., then suddenly it wasn't. Bad mistake yes but offside is offside. We've seen it a thousand times when goals are disallowed because they were offside in an earlier phase of play, now suddenly they're not.

I love how every pundit has them pissing Palace away last game of the season. No team likes the opposition celebrating a title on their ground, especially one from the same City. If there is still skin in the game that may well not be the walk in the park people are expecting. Football is strange like that.
I think Palace is a harder game than West Ham and West Ham will be desperate for a result. We both have tough away games in the run in.

Ok, well, I won't slag Guehi too much but it does have to be said - what were you thinking bro? The only thing that tempered my anger at him was that - it didn't look like we were scoring any more than one goal tonight. Which makes for a win but really does nothing for us in goal scored/differentials. The other thing is the fight back. Where was this urgency for the 35 previous minutes of the first half? It proves once again that possession based offenses can be reduced to nothing if you can't do anything with the possession. In other things:

Doku was great tonight. Two goals.
Foden - his shot. Two years ago - that shot goes in.
Rodri - we missed him. He's a must play. I don't think Nico G did bad but - there's no player like Rodri.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the last goal to tie the game will figure heavily. There's a reason for everything. Its karma or juju or star signs. West Ham MUST win. They will win. Doku's goal will carry us to the title.
Foden needs to do some serious thinking about whether he wants to carry on playing at the highest as unfortunately he is miles off . England will do him a massive diservice as he needs the summer off to recharge and get some mojo back.

City was never really in the title race because of that 2nd half tonight and it's been all season long. I know we would slip up again. It's something we need to sort out for the FA cup final and for next season. We need new legs in midfield and at both full-back roles.

It's still been a good season in my book with winning silverware and another chance of doubling it up

The blame game is silly, I know it hurts, but we win lose draw as a team
Yes, we should not be happy about the result, but if Arsenal win the title then well played to them

We will be Back Stronger and ready next season and learn from this, Manchester City are still the greatest team in all the world and has the greatest manager and players and owners in the world
If arsenal win the league then they are the best, that's the truth nowhere near the best in Europe

If he doesn’t make a mistake you’d be gutted to make at 5 a side tonight, we don’t collapse.

These things don’t happen in a vacuum.

Guehi cost us the title. He’s been good, true.

But tonight with his failure to complete a 6 yard pass to the keeper, he cost us the title.
What about all the twats who failed to hit the target. Open yer fucking eyes Mr Negativity.

I’d still say the same how can a player be 2 yards offside and the flag didn’t go up straight away! When in other games I’ve seen the flag go up straight away! Now if I hadn’t seen that loads of times this season I wouldn’t be moaning about that goal! My main moan is other games they put the flag up straight away and it a free kick

It really is hard to fathom the difference Rodri makes. We all know it, but still some times I think, hes not fast, he hasn't got a great 'engine', he doesn't split defences like Kevin or David etc etc but what a fukcin player. How does he do it ?

What Rodri does *seems* good but also a bit ordinary in comparison to some magicians on the ball or hard men. That's why he's been a bit underrated in England. But he's extraordinary at making the whole greater than the parts by giving structure and rhythm to our game.

Had Guehi looked around it wouldn't have bloody mattered.
Refs tend to flag only if the offside player is going towards the ball. In this case Guehi was in possession and it's the next phase of the game. - Though that interpretation may change several times in the next few years.
Doesnt matter. He miskicked it and thats that. Would have been a regulation boot away by the keeper had it come properly to him, but he fluffed his lines and fannied the gentle pass back. Everything else was great he got in a perfect position and managed it lovely. Its the first mistake Ive seen him make since he came to us, we need to be backing him now

Consequence of having such a young squad.

Not taking your chances and thinking it will be ok. When Semenyo had that shot and no one was at the back post why was no one there and they were ball watching.

Defence cracked under the pressure, glad Khusanov has got over the shyness but he could have easily been in the book Tarkowski played him like a fiddle. Nunes hesitating to give them a chance and Guihe I mean that back pass says it all.

It shouldn’t take till 3 goals down to get a second wind. Could see Everton getting into that second half and no one shouted at the boys to pull there finger out there arse. Ffs

There's more chance of me going to the World Cup than Phil. Hope he puts his feet up for 6 weeks and enjoys some time with the family.

A lot is made of how we are experienced in getting over the line in title battles but out of our starting 11 only Bernie can be classed as experienced in this regard (and he had a stinker tonight btw)
This is not an experienced City team but a very young one which will need time to bed in.
It’s a transitional season and we need to accept that any trophy is a bonus this year.

Based on that showing I just can’t see us winning all our remaining games regardless of what Arsenal do.

Why we don’t go more direct to Haaland sometimes is beyond me. Look what happens when we do
