Both gutsy and clumsy from City. xG was 2.23 to 1.47 for City in a game where we had 75% possession. Once again we failed to go for the jugular whilst in front and that lack of ruthlessness has cost us a good few times this season. That said, the comeback from two goals down showed character and bodes well for the future. Personnel wise, I thought Nico G struggled with the pace of the game (which may be down to lack of game time) and both centre backs were not at their best. Bottom line though is you will not win many games conceding three. We need to find a way to combat teams when they have their "20 minutes" in a game. Different opposition but we did the same against Real Madrid at the Bernebeau plus several teams in the PL.

If we don’t win the title it’s from the other 6 or so games we’ve dropped points from winning positions, the 5 losses and so on.

He’ll still be playing in the next game, so we’d best get behind him.

City was never really in the title race because of that 2nd half tonight and it's been all season long. I know we would slip up again. It's something we need to sort out for the FA cup final and for next season. We need new legs in midfield and at both full-back roles.

It's still been a good season in my book with winning silverware and another chance of doubling it up

So 6 games this year( 2026 ) we have been winning at HT and yet we only get 6 points, I think we are just shit trying to defend a 1 0 or in spurs case a 2 0 score, instead of going for a 2nd goal

What I can’t understand is we go a goal up and start easing off and invite them back into the game they go 3-1 up and suddenly the intensity and driving forward with the ball begins why could we not be like that after grabbing the first goal absolutely baffling..

I never played with blade boots they weren’t around back then, just put boots with studs on and stop slipping and sliding about.

I can't remember a match where so may players slipped, that pitch was awful
