Will we win the league this season? No

I think for people looking for hope i always go back to the Blackburn Title

No way do Liverpool try and beat Blackburn with Dalgleish as manager and give the title to their hated enemies.

West ham had fuck all to play for so no way the rags don't win.

Then Liverpool go and fuck over Blackburn and the West ham players who should mentality be on the beach defend like their lives depend on it. Absolutely mental and brilliantly funny. Fuck off raggys:-)

To counter when we won with Pellers West ham had brandy and cigars out and we all had a nice stress free day in the sun winning the title.

Unfortunately for me I dont think we are winning all our remaining games.

Worth bearing in mind too that Palace fans from what I've seen, don't want Arsenal lifting the league title at their ground. Plus there might be 1 or 2 playing for a place in the European final. I'm not a Palace believer (I think it's West Ham or bust) but it is a game Arsenal are going to walk into expecting to blitz but away games are never easy in this league.

Opta: 87/13%

Either way we are relying on West Ham which isn’t great.

There for a reason>something to play for imho!
No we're not relying on West Ham everyone is just assuming that's the one Arsenal might slip up in. The fact remains that Arsenal have 3 matches to play, not just West Ham. As unlikely as it seems, the pressure is off Burnley, the manager has gone and it's not unusual to see relegated teams to start to pick up a few points in their final matches.

Don't forget, Wolves are worse than Burnley according to the table yet they drew 2-2 with Arenal after being two down at the hour mark, and in the Emirates match lost 2-1 to an injury time own goal - both Arsenal goals that day were own goals IIRC. And that was at a time Arsenal were under less pressure, so anything can happen.

I don't think Arsenal will find it difficult against Burnley and Palace (who play 3 days later in an European final).

Our chances rest on W Ham getting a result on Sunday. It's not likely but improbable things happen in football. That Doku goal may turn out to be decisive.
If Arsenal can't relegate a shit West Ham in a game that could decide the title, they don't deserve it.

We have been saying most of the season that they don't deserve it, so here's hoping.

I think two cups is a good season, 2nd 3rd or 4th doesn’t make much difference to me tbh. In fact outside of financial reasons even that im not overly arsed about. You either win the league of you dont
There are 19 other teams that would love to lift 2 trophies in a season but most never will, ever. It's a damn sight better than a "good season". Seems to me we're becoming entitled and getting greedy. I think we should appreciate more what we have and stop whinging about what we didn't get.

I don't see them dropping points against anyone now. I think they had their blip, and seem to have recovered. Their run in is pretty easy as well. Three of our last four games aren't easy ones. I feel that once Rodri was side lined we started to struggle a bit more.

One thing I will say is that we will absolutely explode next season with the right signings. This is reminiscent of 2016/17 when we were inconsistent with a few poor performances but it wasn’t hard to see signs of life in the project. We’ve done better than 16/17 in terms of results too. Won one trophy, on for two more and this is just our floor.

Just hope the players are not as defeatist as most on here are. We still have a chance and I believe it's a better one than most people think it is.

There is going to be huge pressure on Arsenal to win it from here and they've buckled every season so far. I don't think any of their three remaining opponents are going to roll over, and while the doom mongers are writing us off we've only lost one in the league this year and that was at the rags, the only match in which we've not played well and not actually deserved to win.

Our overall record this season suggests we're more than capable of winning our remaining games despite last night's result. Are we likely to win the title? No, but we're not out of it yet either.

I didnt whinge once, our expectations will be higher than say Fulham so your argument falls apart from the very beginning.
If we win the fa cup it will be a good season, the league will be a great one, that is my view.
You have a different one which is fine but im not interested in discussing your physche over it so maybe you shouldn't be labelling others?

Expected us to drop points somewhere and can see Arsenal dropping points after their game vs Athletico which could go extra time and pens. The Bournemouth game worries me more than it should however. There will be a lot of pressure on Arsenal in that last game of season so if its in their hands going into that game I will be rubbing mine. Even if palace are playing a second string, and I dont think they will be, and its not guarenteed either they will be in a final either. But the pressure on Arsenal will be immense. And they wont have Joey Barton to go crazy and save the day.
Maybe haaland will go full agueroooooooooooo!

Pressure does funny things to you in football. In 2012 we should’ve absolutely battered QPR especially when they went down to 10 men but it doesn’t always work out that way. Arsenal have all the pressure on them now and every game is a banana skin until they lift the trophy.

It’s not done yet and we of all fanbases should recognise that by now.

Unfortunately I don’t think teams work like that. Spurs last season were happy to throw away the league and get battered week after week because they were aiming for European glory - Ange has admitted that in interviews since.
Spurs are a disgrace though. Not all clubs will have that mindset. Palace might be sickened of the thought of arsenal lifting the trophy at Selhurst Park

So I was quite doom and gloom at 3-1 down but that fight back especially with the way Doku rescued a point with the last kick of the game truly has me believing that we are destined to win this thing.

The pressure has just ramped up a whole new level again for a arsenal because now they have it all to lose and that mindset can change the way they think and play.

I think sadly the lay off added pressure onto some of the team. Jeremy obviously spent the time practicing his shooting and Donna made a couple of good saves but the rest were a notch below their usual. Should have been a red card but what else can we expect from Oliver. I thought that Kovacic played very well when he came on and a lovely assist for Haaland.

The players were too spoiled and too relaxed during the long break before this game. That approach might work for experienced players who have been through several title deciders, but not for inexperienced ones who don’t know how to manage themselves during the run-in. They acted like they had already won and went on talk shows here and there, which is usually something you do after the season ends or after winning trophies, not during a crucial run-in like this.

Only 1 team has ever won the english domestic treble, ourselves in 2019

This team is still on course for that, theoretically, but are miles off that team's level.

Sums up the current standard of the league for me. Arsenal will be far from great champions. Pep has done well to get this team competing this long into the season .
