Perspective / Hindsight

Worth remembering we are very much in transition, Liverpool have for a combination of reasons fallen off a cliff, and we by rights should be nowhere near a title race if so many other clubs were not misfiring. The fact that we have gone from being lucky to have a CL place to pushing for the title is mainly due to the above and arsenal being a lot shitter than they generally get credit for.
What makes city so great is that this is what a 'shit season' now looks like - a cup or two and a top 2-3 finish. A far cry from a good season being 40 points by May, and I'm genuinely excited about this lot next season.
This really shows the genius of Pep, as you say this can be viewed as a dissapoitment depending how the FA cup final goes but I don't think many expected one trophy nevermind 2/3 if you asked in January when we were pretty poor, his standards and quality keeps standards high.

Strange that Dias could be 4th choice next year? Not fair to keep playing a high line only to expose his only major shortcoming.
If he plays with Khus it will be fine. I’d like to see more of NOR in MF next year so can see gvardiol and RAN sharing time at LB with Josko coming into CB situationally. He has an eye for goal so could be very handy as an attacking LB

Nobody cares as long as we win. He was great against Arsenal in the cup final, he scored plenty of big goals for us.

That's true, but I would love him to win us the FA Cup with a brace or a hat-trick and it becomes Haaland's cup final

This season could be the 6th time a club has won the league cup and FA cup,
Would be the first time we have done this as a stand alone feat (not as part of the domestic treble)
The second time a club has held them both at the same time.
