I didn't know that I know we have a massive game tonight and MGW will be desperate to play. I just hope all the protocols have been followed all it is a game of football and his health has to take priority if he doesn't play it will only motivate the players more like it did when Elliott was missing

I can see him leaving City but surprised if he lands at Forest strange as it seems I could possibly see him landing at Arsenal if Arteta is still there .

Way too small for Arteta to be buying him. He probably instantly filters out anyone under 6 foot..

I know but the strange thing is it might be easier for you to obtain Anderson if we win it . As you know if your fans think there is a release clause you know how that works with Maranakis.

You might be right their average height has been increasing but I was surprised when looked at squad they have 8 players under 6 foot .

If you imagine Anderson in the middle of the park for us on Monday, he gets on the ball and doesn't get bullied off it. He turns, gets us up the pitch and we win that game. What's brilliant with him is that with Forest he does carry the ball forward well and get into advanced positions, but he's also played as a 6 keeping it simple and being the outlet from defence for England. So he's got great experience in both a traditional 6 and 8 role already and being so young is exactly the sort of player we need to be signing.

I think Gerrard only really excelled when Xabi Alonso was at the side of him, I think Gerrards tactical ability was very limited and he looked so much better with a better football brain alongside him, imagine how good he’d look playing alongside Rodri
