Wouldn't have had Ake Reinders Donna in the team, Nico Stones Traff for me, think the midfield will be run through unless Nico O is pushed in the middle, maybe Nath on left, Marc middle cb

We will have to agree to disagree. Going into any match without a defensive midfielder makes it very difficult for us. When Nico played in the first half of the season we were all thankfull that he was there because Rodri wasn't available.
 
Ake and Reijnders in the XI? If we don't get the three points this evening, this place will be fun later on. Lots on here will be deploying their inner Burger King mode.

The average age of our starting 11 in this season's games is 25, only one team is below that (Chelsea = 24).

United are 26.

And to add - Bernardo and Stones who are both leaving are dragging that average up by roughly an entire year by virtue of how many games Bernardo has played.

Looks like Pep has decided the combination of Nunes, Khusanov and Gonzales is poor in winning aerial duels. Knowing Everton exploited it, Brentford will definitely target that. So getting Guehi and Ake in, both good in the air, seems to be the answer. Bernardo and Reijnders will likely be tasked with winning the second balls and not directly compete for balls in the air.

In the lead-up to Everton's first goal following Guehi's error, Khusanov won the aerial duel and Bernardo lost possession of the second ball in a ground challenge.

Agreed, can see this being high scoring both ways. Hope im wrong but playing without a recognised DM always causes me to shiver. History doesnt bode well. But Cherki,Doku and Haaland should (hopefully) be enough
