Will we win the league this season? No

At the end of the day we fucked up again v Spurs, 1 point against that shower of shit terrible + Dropping points against Chelsea at home
We fecked against so many teams because we were consistently inconsistent, and I would even dare saying disgustingly mediocre in so many games.

Red card for Dalot not given at the swamp - costing us between 1 and 3 points
Solanke kicking through Guehi to score - costing us 2 points
No red card for Keane, debatable offside from Barry - costing us 2 points
Being denied 2 clear penalties and conceding an offside goal at Newcastle - costing us between 1 and 3 points

6-10 points from absolutely horrendous decisions against us.

Meanwhile Arsenal - no penalties conceded, no red cards received, make their own rules up at set pieces.

But we pay the refs apparently.
This is what springs to mind along with Haaland no penalty vs Forest.

They have got away with this all season and the 1 time they decide to punish a team for it, arsenal benefit. Its fucking bent. If your calling that a foul what about the 3 west ham players that were being rugby tackled

Never mind - hopefully we can put right all the shite from this season and walk it - past 100 points again to a new record - next season.

It's a miracle and entirely down to Arsenal's shite that we're still in with a shout at all with 3 games to go.

Their defence is back to being mean again. 4 clean sheets. Newcastle, Fulham, Atletico, and West Ham. They will always score at least 1 goal.

If we beat Palace at home, then Bournemouth away, you will not say, 'it ain't gonna happen'.
In which we'd be 1 point ahead having played a game more, reliant on Burnley drawing or beating Arsenal.

There was a foul in the build up in their first goal. VAR allowed that one. Spurs thought it was their birthday with that and decided to fight their way back into that game. Similar to the recent Everton game.

Yeah, I think that's done now. Fair play to Arsenal, they got dragged into a dogfight by West Ham but they squeaked through it. Disappointed, obviously, but ultimately not too bothered in the end. We've lost title races before, we'll lose them again. And I think we ended up in this particular title race a year ahead of schedule. I had my eyes on the 26/27 title next, so to get so close to the 25/26 title has been exciting and really encouraging for the future.

At the start of this season my targets for us were 1) finish top four before the final day and get to about 78-80 points, 2) try and win a domestic cup if we can, and 3) make a better show of ourselves in Europe than last year. I've listed them a dozen times. Back in December I was very much prepared for Arsenal to stroll away with the league title - I thought they would get to 90 points and I've been shocked that we're still involved in the race this late in the day.

On the day we won the League Cup, I said I considered that to be the effective end of our season and anything we achieved beyond that point was just gonna be a great bonus. We've got loads to improve and work on - too much to win the league on this occasion - but we've shown incredible character and have had so many amazing moments this season, and we still have a big chance to finish this transitional season having with an amazing domestic cup double.

But even having said all that, and even though I believe it is over now, with the way this title race has gone up to now, I wouldn't be surprised if something mad happens to Arsenal vs Burnley or Palace that lets City back into the picture yet again. If Arsenal think they're over the hill now that the West Ham game is out of the way, imagine how they're gonna feel next week if they're stuck at 0-0 vs Burnley after 65 mins, or stuck at 0-0 vs Palace on the last day...

If we take it to final day then I would say there is still a chance, but only if Palace did not have a European final on the Wednesday after. Now just looking forward to the cup final, PSG giving them a footballing lesson and next season
Did you see the state of them today? Palace are a better side than West Ham and I don't think Palace will want Arsenal to win the title in South London.

It's advantage Arsenal. But it's not done. Never give up until it's done. That's what our history tells us.

We'll win the reminder of our matches but there's no way the PGMOL and premier League will let arsenal mess it up, they'll be looking for ways to disallow any goal

City can beat Palace, Bournemouth and Villa. We can force Arsenal to win away on the final day.

I think we will struggle to beat Bournemouth away in the aftermath of the Cup Final but it's not done until we draw/lose.

In 11/12 we had to beat United to put the destiny of the PL solely in our hands and then win at Newcastle who were enjoying their best season in years and had a realistic chance of CL qualification

It was the "gimme" against relegation QPR that we almost fucked up

All we can do is win our games and see what happens

That's my last throw of the dice.

12 points dropped from winning positions, the most in the league according to the graphic on Sky yesterday. That’s the reason we are where we are. Second is obvs still a good season but can’t help but feel we blew it ourselves.
100%

Its inexcusable

You wanna win the league you cant be dropping that many points from winning positions, ironically we were lucky that Arsenal haven't been that good that we're even in the race

Danny I get you optimism but mate it’s not gonna happen so we might aswell get the cup finish second and go next season and not make the mistakes we’ve done this season as truth be told we’ve not been good enough and from a premier point of view it’s good for another team to win which brings the worry next season that Utd are getting ready for a title .
Far too close to throw in the towel Paul

What a shit day it could be at the last home game of the season. Losing the title to Arsenal, Bernardo going, Stones going, and if the rumours are to be believed, Pep going as well. :-(
