Premier League Games | 9/10/11/13 May '26

And Bernardo would have been sent off yesterday. Also, look at what a headbutt actually is. It results in broken noses and blood splatter.
The laws state that contact doesn't need to be made for a player to get a red card for violent conduct.
The laws are clearly written that way to ensure there aren't broken noses and blood splatter in the game.

We haven't made a proper title race then? Because they haven't won anything yet.
Maybe try getting behind the team once in a while.
The reason we’re in a title race this season is cos everyone else is shit.
It’s also the reason the rags are 3rd, having sacked a manager.
It’s not a strong league.
So imo it’s not a ‘proper’ title race.
We might still have an outside chance of winning it but that doesn’t take away from the points I’ve made.
IMO we’ve had some stinkers this season and we’ve strolled out for far too many second halves.
That can’t be a shock to you since it’s been discussed many times on here over the season.
Our press at times has been half arsed and our movement similar.
I’ve come terms with that now.
We go again.
Sorry not we cos I’m not a Blue : )

So why didn’t Bernardo see red yesterday from the ref?

PGMOL also said Gabriel should've been sent off for the Haaland incident. Didn't affect the result but shouldn't have played next couple of games.
Did they? I thought they doubled down and said there wasnt sufficient force.

Trossard has his arm round the west ham player & is pulling him downwards. Another arsenal player has hold of the west hams player's shirt & is pulling his shirt downwards to stop him jumping. 2 penalties not given.
So in VAR speak, the two fouls on the West Ham player are subjective, all part of the rough and tumble that PIGMOB and by extension the Premier League has allowed all season, now you would expect the arm across Raya to fall into the same rough and tumble category but no, it is a retrospective foul, it’s a subjective call in the other direction. It’s also a clear and obvious foul that needs review because it is and the others aren’t.

Now if you believe that load of bollocks you also believe the moon is made of cream cheese.

I know we all despise the way they play, but the goons played with intensity and they found the energy from somewhere to go right to the end. Got a little bit of luck too. Sign of champions.
It's the sign of desperate anti-football cnuts... Led by the biggest smacked arse in the league (Now Poch has gone)

The issue isn’t really whether it’s a foul on Raya. The issue is how do you separate/prioritise one foul over another. Is fouling the keeper more of a foul than Trossard holding the West Ham player down? It seems to be very selective.
VAR enables them to do that. It’s designed to allow manipulation of outcomes.
