Premier League Games | 9/10/11/13 May '26

Okay, put YOUR house on us winning it then. Works both ways.
but im not as adamant as you are. I still think we’ll win the title but I also appreciate nothing in the game is certain.

You however seem adamant that it is done and dusted

I’m just saying what’s stopping you from putting an obscene amount of money on that outcome if you are so sure if it is going to happen?

Not at all. People make mistakes. I don't think anyone really believes their is blatant corruption going on.

The point is we should account for error mistakes and shouldn't be leaving it for others to decide our fate. We had it in our hands and we bottled.

Mate I believe there is blatant corruption in the pl. I just cant walk away from City. If I could I could happy never watch football again. As it is now I only watch City games.

Regardless of whatever questionable decision has occurred we shouldn't be leaving it for the arsenal or the referees to decide the title; we had it in our hands and we lost it. Plain and simple. We drew and lost against teams we should have won. There is really no excuse for us, in fact I am surprised we even still have a title race.

The season hasn't been a failure though we still have league cup and are in the FA cup final. We are extremely lucky that there is even a hint of a title race despite all our mistakes. We have no excuses given how poor we've been lets not whine about it please and focus on improving next season. Fair play to Arsenal.
Arsenal and Fair play lol.. Bad choice of words mate..
They are a bunch of cheating counts aided and abetted by the officials and VAR

Foul? Possibly, probably even, but as I said earlier, there are countless goals given or not given during a season which VAR could look at and overturn. There's always some pushing, some tugging, some arms out, a bit of holding down, a bit of physicality that could be called as a foul. Keepers are almost always in the mix in goalmouth incidents, that's the game.

I reckon if you looked at every single goal over the season that came about in similar circumstances, you could find a reason for a VAR involment in a huge number of them.

Again, as I said earlier, VAR can be and is used to manipulate the outcome of games. Tonight's perhaps the most significant VAR decision in Premier League history, it has almost certainly decided the title, but probably not the worst decision of all of them.

And finally, nothing will ever convince me that had the roles been reversed, and that goal had been a winner for Arsenal, it would have been ruled out.

Fair play to arsenal ! They can get fucked awful football which their fans won’t give a fuck about, but everyone else knows what it is boring anti football an absolute disgrace..they’ll be in for a shock next season when none of their blocking pulling and grabbing won’t be tolerated..

I don’t have a problem with that being given in isolation but Arsenal have gotten away with similar offences all season long. There is just zero consistency and it feels like the guys in the VAR just made it up as they go along

Also how does it take 5mins to determine that a clear and obvious error has been made? The whole thing is just a mess

Corrected for you
He’s not even that mate. In a piece of fantastic timing he wrote huge puff piece about the great work Roman Abramovich was doing at Chavs just as Russia invaded Ukraine and Abramovich fled the country, if he was a socialist in any way shape or form he would be showering Shiekh Mansour with credit for breathing life back into East Manchester, no he’s a shill and a wanker. End of.

Just allow all fouls at corners. Anything goes and no free kicks given and no goals disallowed. We are almost at that point anyway. Just not quite and today's injustice simply highlights the inconsistencies.

Sky have just said the ref watched 17 different replays.

It cannot possibly be a “clear and obvious error” if he needs to do that.

If it was clear and obvious he’d just be able to watch one replay and know he’d gotten it wrong - because it would be clear and obvious.

It’s bent. Simple as that.

Did they? I thought they doubled down and said there wasnt sufficient force.
“The Premier League's independent key match incidents panel concluded by a 3–2 vote that Gabriel Magalhães' head movement towards Erling Haaland constituted violent conduct under IFAB laws. The decision was based on 'the extra head movement forward' in a non-playing situation, which the panel deemed excessive force. Despite this, no retrospective action is possible as the incident was seen and judged by both the referee and VAR during the match”
