Will we win the league this season? No

Marvin, you remind me of Ty from ATV.

You honestly can’t admit anything.

Arsenal aren’t going to slip up at home to relegated Burnley, and away to a squad Palace team.

It's the hope that kills you I suppose.

Odd things can happen on final days I guess as we know. I'm not convinced we'll take it that far tbh. Bournemouth away has dropped points written all over it.

I never saw the game, but saw on my phone that West ham had equalised, and immediately said, I bet var overturns it. This happened so many times in that season when klopp won the title. Maybe it's not corrupt, but var officials must have a preference on who they want to win a game, and have a bias towards them.

Not the first time I've said it, but it remains true.

Of course, it doesn't look likely, but we can't just let them win it, we need to make them win it. We need to make them sweat every moment for the next two games, and then if they come out on top we can say we pushed them all the way.

But this league does not win itself.

Once in a generation a team messes up on the final day. 2026 could be the year..

The pressure on Arsenal will be through the roof against Burnley and as we've seen they can be hard to beat. There's no crap teams in this league and they are all capable of an upset.

There's still 3 games left and anything can happen. All we can do is pile the pressure on and see if it's enough. If we win our games, we've done our part but can Arsenal? They certainly look edgy to me. I still wouldn't be surprised if they dropped points.

If they win the title, fair play to them but let's not give up until it's game over.

I fucking hope not, they will have to have all that trophy stuff at our place like they did at Sunderland for the rags in 2012 and there will be a photo floating round, let’s face it they don’t want us to win it, goal difference isn’t even important now it will be a pints difference, either they win it by 4 or we win it by one.

But we had two blatant pens not awarded that game

I didn't really want to get involved in our dodgy decisions and to be honest we should have beaten Forest comfortably at the time without requiring penalties.

However..... as you have got me started there have been numerous decisions that have gone against us this season. Perhaps my favourite (sarcasm) was the Newcastle one earlier in the season. Just equalised and completely silenced St James' and then Barnes scores an offside goal. The semi-automated camera does a rapid 360 view instead of along the line like it usually does, has Dias leaping in the air when he was grounded the whole time and the Newcastle players foot has moved further away from the 6 yard box. The camera then spends ages focusing on somebody that nobody even claimed was offside instead of the main protagonist. Not seen anything like it before or since. I mentioned it to a rag recently and even he remembered how fucking weird it was!!

I'm still not happy about the Guehi offside at Everton either. If he's aware it's offside and the flag has gone up he doesn't even chase the ball down and hastily try and pass it back to Gigi. Attackers up his arse so he's obviously influencing Marc's decision-making. It was disallowed at the time and NOBODY would have said the following day Everton were robbed of a goal over that incident. Legohead and his cronies would have been absolutely hounding the officials there.

Given the state our defence was in mid season I consider it a minor miracle we are still competing . We are where we deserve to be given our inconsistencies. Noone is ever going to hand things to us on a plate and we are beginning to show we have more fight and determination than collective going AWOL.

This side continues to improve and next season is looking promising . Arsenal are in a tactical cul de sac of their own making and they are barely getting over the line . Liverpool nowhere near good enough and Rags will blow up once they have to play in more than one competition .

That said if I was a Hammer I'd be gutted.
