It's a clear foul on the Goalkeeper in my opinion, but both Todibo and Mavrapanos are being fouled also. If it is clear and obvious why has it taken multiple replays and 5 minutes + to work it out? Just bizarre.

VAR is destroying the game.

I've just seen the incident, I think the goal should be disallowed, 2 WH players holding the keeper, but surely there were 2 fouls before that, both of which are penalties, possibly 3, why do they not come first ?

Refs and VAR have said it's fine all season. The one time it goes against arsenal, suddenly it isn't.

It's clear and obvious that they are getting help this season.

Maybe we need another box in the penalty area where players have to keep out so the goalie has a clear view of the ball

The referees are absolutely influenced by VAR and totally afraid to stick with their on-field decisions. Whether we like it or not, VAR have a FAR bigger influence over games than intended, yet they were supposed to only intervene when there was a 'clear and obvious' error. Out of the 47 times referees have been to the monitor screen this season - only 2 times have they stuck with their original decision of what they saw on the pitch.

To have this much disparity, it tells me one of two things. Either A...referees are not fit for purpose because they've only been correct 2.35% of the times they've been to the pitchside monitor (which is in itself a shocking return for a supposed professional referee), or B...VAR is influencing games well above and beyond their remit.

Make your own mind up on this guys.
