I suspect the sticking point is the length of contract on the table - it's a tough one because if they let her walk there is no doubt she will score goals wherever she ends up especially in the first couple of years. Looking at her today is a slightly different Bunny - she was largely anonymous for periods but ended up winning us the game with great finishes. A similar pattern this year.
Bunny of recent seasons would dominate defenders when running at them but we are seeing less of that recently. Is that the start of a decline or is it all to do with her state of mind? I don't know. Either way as fans we have to trust Therese and Charlotte on this one because from where we were - being a perennial stumbling at the final hurdle team to now never giving up and being so together is pretty special. I still recall when we had a lot of older players 2 years ago we were losing crucial games late on and we would stick with not getting the ball forward, passing back from everywhere on the pitch and end up missing out on titles because we didn't have energy and extra gears - we've changed that mindset completely and whereas Bunny has been key to that a top team evolves constantly with each new player coming in.
In other words I would be very happy if she stays but also if she does moves on I trust the club to use that money and squad space effectively.
