Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

I think the real problem now it that PGMOL won't really know whether to stick or twist.

Having once again been exposed as utterly "incompetent" in their management of games, how the fuck do they proceed.

As hilarious as it is in a dark and serious context, their every decision is going to be analysed over and over by the football world, especially the non-arsenal supporters, to see how they " manage " incidents.

I seriously hope that there is so much furore over their standing and operations that they are in an impossible position when appointing / instructing their officials for games for fear of the repercussions of a similar fuck as witnessed last weekend.

And it couldn't have happened to imo a more arrogant and corrupt body of officials under the leadership of Howard fucking Webb.

Appointed under the auspices of Richard Masters to do the bidding of the PL and their cabal of owners seeking to derive an advantage over other lesser clubs.

A House of Cards would be so apt a caption, if it were to come about.......
Don’t agree. The officials will be strong and stand up against the hostility of the crowd. Rather like that twat Hallam did against Wolves.

Well we will see.

Hallam had nothing to loose, as the powers would have defended him, citing his strength of his character and conviction, or if torrents of flack ensued, excused him on the basis of big game experience.

The cunts in PGMOL, and especially head **** Howard Webb, are very well versed in lies and conflagration having had years of experience ( especially as a member of the police ) when needed ....imho.

Will be interesting to see how world cup refs tolerate arsenal players defending for their respective countries, I suspect yellows and reds will result

But will they behave in the same way playing for their respective countries, as they do for Lego head?

I saw a chart the other day where the bumnal had the best disciplinary record in the PL this year.
Them and ourselves were the only 2 teams with no red cards.

No presentation of the trophy at the Emirates.

If they do win it then like John Terry they can change into their home kit at full time but it won't be the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong but we've always had the privilege of being presented with the trophy at the Etihad except for Brighton away in 2019.

If he’s committing the foul before the corner has been taken then the ball is not in play. So it can’t be counted. Just saying.
This rule needs changing asap. There was a situation earlier in the season where the Liverpool right back (Bradley) was lying injured and Martinelli tried to drag him off the pitch and was booked for it. The ball was not in play during the offence so what’s the difference?

I'd guess the difference would be that he couldn't give a free kick, penalty, etc. You can still book or send someone off when the ball isn't in play. Just look at players talking themselves into a second yellow after being booked for a foul and the free kick hasn't been taken yet.
