All in all a decent half but palace obviously don’t give a fuck bout this game
Exactly and that somewhat puts tonights result into perspective.

Palace will only start to "lock-in" against Arsenal if they somehow manage to get into the later stages while still being level.

A sight to behold Phil Foden in his pomp , hungry for the ball and going forward at every opportunity, solid performance from every player , if we can score a couple more the Goons arses will be twitching again , make Legohead go through hell.

Happy with that even without getting out of second gear.foden showing glimpse of his class. Come on city.

Well he does need to leave for his own sake as Pep only sees him as a striker these days, so the only games he’ll start over Haaland are these weird rotation games, plus domestic cups. If he’s happy with that then awesome, but why would he be? No matter what he does he still isn’t displacing Haaland, so it’s up to him is he’s happy with just being a bench player 75% of the season.
There are plenty games where pep has made a mistake and put him in 86th min when we needed a goal.. so I do agree with you something needs to happen.

Very happy that weve managed to break down their defence a couple of times but I can’t help but be disappointed with Savinho. What has happened to the young lad who terrorised defenders in his first season. I don’t think he’s got past his full back once tonight and is contributing virtually nothing.
He's being triple marked most of the time. I think he's playing fine.

Agreed. His technique is incredible, just needs to get his mojo back. Unbelievably, someone described him as "deadwood" on here recently....
The club backing him with the new contract might be the catalyst.
Not many clubs would have done that.
And I think he is possibly the only player the club would have back how they did

Despite being a bit worried about the line-up, we have done ok in the first half. Pretty slow start but found our way later on in the half and deservedly a couple up.

Foden has played very well, as has Bernardo but our 'wingers' are looking a bit lost. Obviously Ait-Nouri isn't a winger and it shows but I'd expect a bit more from Savinho. Marmoush has had his moments, including the goal, but still not totally convinced. Good to see Gavrdiol back.

Palace don't look overly interested and if we had our first 11 out, I could see us winning this by 4 or 5 but it certainly hasn't been as disjointed as I expected and we might even get that score if we push on.

Keep this up 2nd half and we should win this fairly comfortably.

Spot on. To be honest, I just don’t want to have to watch them lift the league at home. Get this game done and we won’t have to. Up the blues.
