Talk about bitter and twisted - this **** needs sorting out the BBC are an utter joke. This story is placed in a prominent position on the BBC Sports section and the fact that we won has been hidden away. If they’d won I’m sure it would be the main headline.

All i can say to anyone fan or pundit who bitches about empty seats is three things

1) one if you get paid to attend, watch or talk about football your opinion is less than worthless when it comes to a normal fanbase and so will be immediately discounted.

2) if you're just a normal fan and you go to every single game home, away and abroad then congratulations to you on having that amount of time and money to commit to one thing but the reality is you are in the minority most people have family, work, health, money and any number of things that get in the way its called life.

3) and finally YOU are there, enjoy YOU being there why do you give a single fuck who isnt there if you are its pathetic, stop worrying about other people cos they sure as shit aint worrying about you.

Had a rag moaning yesterday that it should have gone to the swamp so 60k more raggies could have watched it....this from a rag who lives within 5/6 miles of the ground who never goes, I left him with I've had a great thought maybe the Grimsby cup game should have been moved to the swamp.

Apparently I'm just being silly now.

Was he one of the 3000 who watched the semi final?

He's one of the multitude of massive rags that never goes as it not what I was....I've known him since the mid 80's and can honesty say I've never ever known him to attend a game.

Short answer..... no did he fuck.

Yes he said something on the lines that city havnt got a strong fan base like most other premier league clubs, funny that I remember going to vile park for a cup game think we won 4-0,the ground was half empty, including a full end of city fans, another one the midweek after beating arsewipes 3-0 in carabao cup their ground had swathes of empty seats even though we sold out.funny that
Haven't got a strong fan base. Villa have never had a bigger average attendance than City. When they were in the second division it would be interesting to see how many attended their matches compared to us. Just looked up their average gate over the last 30 seasons and it 35,700.

BBC Sport is a fucking disgrace.
"As it turned out, despite Manchester City officials saying it was a sell-out, only the United section was full, with large numbers of empty seats in the home sections"

Unbiased, fact based reporting from the BBC. Firstly, do you see LARGE numbers of empty seats? Nope. Would you usually expect an away end to be full, YES. The entire way the article is written is biased.

Not to mention, as said above, that's not even taking into account this has more coverage from them than tomorrow's FA Cup final.

City are one of the best supported teams in the country - and certainly (and always have had) have a bigger fanbase than the likes of villa. Can't be arsed checking - but i'm pretty sure that the attendance on Wednesday (despite being a rescheduled game at a shitty time, in shitty weather, wedged in amongst a load of other games, and with negligible away fans) was bigger than a lot of other PL teams have managed this season.

Does anyone actually care about xG except teenagers playing on their Xbox in-between masturbating? xG can fuck off, and when it gets there it can fuck off some more.

Just seen this so thought I'd mention - this is one way it's useful. You can see in the last couple of months Liverpool have pretty much given up.

Possibly time for Slot to go in the summer.
