BBC and United reach a new low (FA Youth Cup related - City champions)

I thought the same on all points, although I didn't know his name. I assume he will be 3rd tier of TNT comms choices.

Whether it was his choice or TNT diktat would be interesting to know.

I thought that the pitchside stuff had Robbie Savage being asked questions focussed on MU, but he was pretty clear in his opinions that City were better and was pretty effusive about some of the play.
Minay used to be the BBC Radio Manchester commentator for City games but he isn’t a blue

Bit of a bizarre response.

Quite simply, because the focus isn’t just about Fletcher’s comments but also Simon Stone’s own bullshit within the article as well. He works for an organisation which is legally supposed to be impartial and yet he’s behaving like a fanzine writer for Red Issue. A pattern is also emerging where BBC Sport will hide the report whenever City win a trophy and put up a smear piece instead, as happened with the recent women’s WLS win.
The focus is on fletchers comments, that's why it's the headline. There is no pattern, it's simply a pattern you want to see. Go on any other fan forum and you'll have people making the exact same claims about their club, they cannot all be correct, the far more likely reality is they(including our fans doing it) are all wrong.

The bit about the staff getting shout-outs we do it at every level don't we? Thick as mince Fletcher
Yeah we do at home games after a league title. I think Fletchers point is that it won't happen at the cup final this weekend no matter who wins. I also doubt we would have done it if United had won. So in some respects he has a point but on the other hand it's United so stuff him

People are bothered because if I want to watch City on sky or just watch any other tv channel apart from the bbc, I still have to pay the bbc not to watch them.

It's like paying sainsbury 200quid so I can shop in tesco !
The bastards haven't had a penny off me for nearly 2 years.. and I feel EPIIIICCCC!!! :)

Harsh on monkeys, that! Though I do remember shouting and swearing at simian kind in a Malaysian monkey reserve. My wife wanted a drink and as I got the coke bottle out of my bag the little fookers gathered round trying to pull it out of my hands. Damn dirty apes.......!
I had a similar experience outside Anfield once.
