Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

2 domestic cups (hopefully) & runners up to a cheating tarquin team is not a failure
Who said it was a failure?...it's a fact!

We've done better than i thought we would do at the beginning of the season, but Pep is concious of records, so i don't think he would want to go out like that.

I want him to stay forever. With a few top drawer signings this team could go on and dominate. I still think he'll stay longer than next season, something inside me tells me he won't go until he's ready..and I don't think he's ready. Anyway, bed time, up early for the lads. .C'MON CITY!!!

'I have one more year contract', and then Pep flew out of the press conference faster than Doku taking off from a standing start!

Pep is laser focused on the Cup final, and then the Bournemouth game, so I can't see any announcement before either of those games as he would not allow any distraction to the team's momentum.

It's tricky because if we beat Bournemouth then the title race comes down to the last game, so again I don't think Pep would make any comment about his future prior to that game.

It's hard to read the tea leaves so I'm going to choose to allow my sentiment to prevail and believe that he will see out the final year of his contract.

I think he’s hedging a little based on his body language

I think if somehow there’s a slip by Arsenal, and we go on to win the league (or even better a domestic treble) he’s off at the end of this season. And you couldn’t begrudge him that as a pretty perfect way to sign off.

I think if we don’t win the league, he’ll be back next season with the aim of storming everything in sight and showing Arsenal who the better side is (although I think everyone knows it’s us, from beating them comprehensively in the cup final, the recent league game and not relying on dodgy VAR decisions/anti football).
