Fighting at Wembley in Block 534

I was in 534 and noticed a scuffle right up at the back as I went down to the toilet at half time. When I came back up, the stewards were bringing an older bloke down who’d obviously copped a sweet one - had his cheek split with a big swelling and quite a bit of blood. Guy must have been mid-60s so no age to be battling. If some young lad has done that to a bloke his age, then that’s lower than whale shit. Stupid

I will never understand blue on blue. I’ve always regarded it as an unwritten rule that you look after each other and that you would never hurt one of your own. It’s very sad to hear this and those dickheads throwing punches are a disgrace.

Unfortunately all day drinking and probably some sniff makes people cunts.

The whole stand up/sit down situation is a mess! And causes more trouble than anything else at Wembley, in 139 we were on the edge of everyone standing in 138.
A father and daughter next to me wanted to stand up however the guy behind with his 4 year old wanted to sit and enjoy their first visit to Wembley, after a bit of an argument, they sat down but never returned after half time leaving 4 empty seats on our row as they must of squeezed in somewhere else in the standing area, which from my past experiences can also end in trouble.
Blue on Blue should never happen, it ruins the day for so many.

It's a difficult one. No one should be bothered about people standing up for a short time for goals, chances etc. but for extended periods it's a bit shit for those behind who's view is being obstructed. Put kids, partners and a few beers in the mix and a few words can lead to a scuffle. A bit of consideration can go a long way.
