They need a HUGE rebuild! VVD has been on the slide since his ACL but this season hes looked like the 35 year old he is, he's got a single season if that. Konate could leave, and while I think he stays they're gonna have to massively overpay him

They dont have a right back, Bradley is never gonna get over the injuries as his game is all pace and power and Frimpong is showing why nobody other than Liverpool went for him, hes a RWB and cant play RB or RW

They have the new CB from France going in, but he wouldn't be the first who struggles to adapt to the Prem

Their midfield trio was the best in the elague las year but shows it was more a drop off from others. Mac Allister is going to leave, Gravenberch isn't a #6, Wirtz has completely unbalanced the team

Then losing Salah and last year Diaz their winger options are Gakpo and Ngumoha

Isak is suited to counter attacks and Ekitike has a career altering injury

They need a first choice RB, new CB, a DM, a new winger at a minimum then replacements for Allison, Mac Allister, Robertson, Jones, Gomez

They could easily spend £500mil again this summer to try and resolve this

No need. They've got Harvey Elliot coming back from his amazing loan at Villa.

Also your going to laugh at this....apparently Enrique has been spotted watching Liverpool in the kop undercover to sample the atmosphere first hand.

The Irish thumb is saying on his channel that he’s been given the news by ‘a top tier source’ (but he doesn’t want to name them and get them in trouble) that Slott is out and a new manager to be named very shortly. He’s banding about the names Hoeness, Naglesman and Iraola.
Apparently it’s all down to their lord and saviour Salad who has triggered this with his statement.

If Bournemouth win their last two games and the Dippers fail to beat Brentford then the victims miss out on the CL.

If Brighton win their last two games and if the Dippers lose, again they would lose out but on GD.

Obviously would want the Brighton scenario to work out, I’d like to think we’d contributed by giving them a deficit of 4 goals.

Further twist, if the Dippers beat Brentford and we beat Villa with them winning the Europa the 6th place team would qualify for the CL.

Fascinating end to the season, only that bent piece of refereeing last Sunday has probably denied us of the ultimate finish.

I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it."



Ouch. Not a good weekend for them getting panned by villa and xabi Alonso going to chelsea

No idea how much money they have to spend in the summer? Did they shoot their fat last summer spending hundreds of millions or can they rebuild?

Is this the same Liverpool that have won two pl titles in 35 years that Salah is talking about ?
 
If any City legend said that, i'd fully expect a huge deserved backlash against him. That goes far beyond an entitled player taking a snide dig at a manager, that is a total disrespect of the club itself and legacy ruining comments. it's the dippers though, their cult is strong, they'll probably sing his name even louder and go with it.

The comment itself is complete bullshit, claiming the heavy metal football is what he knows how to play, Salah never ran, they had a midfield of carthorses specifically to accommodate him and TAA not doing the defensive work, what he means is, everybody else should continue to do the donkey work for him, that doesn't work when you're over the hill and cannot offer a threat anymore.

If Slot had any balls and wanted to stamp his authority on that dressing room, he'd drop him from his last game and refuse him the final appearance.
