Had a great day at Wembley yesterday seeing City win the FA Cup.
Hearing on the way home that the Raggies are giving Carwreck the gig permanently was the icing on thrle cake.
The silly twats never learn do they, and long may it continue.

Olympics: North of England bid for games in 2040s being assessed

The government has commissioned UK Sport to conduct an "initial strategic assessment" into a potential bid for the north of England to host the Olympics and Paralympics in the 2040s.

One of the problems with Burnham getting in, hopefully no spaces in the ground until we've got the Olympics so, basically no spades in the ground.

I'm sure I've heard he's been appointed earlier this week but yet again this morning, feature on SSN about his potential appointment.

For example, Chelsea lose cup final yesterday, rumours about Alonso and announced this morning.

Rags are stringing it out just to remain relevant and a news story.

Because they haven’t got a plan so they, they stumble along with their decision making trying to find the spark of bringing the glory days back. They wanted Amorin as he was on City’s radar, they wanted Alexis Sanchez, Maguire, Fred, Ronaldo etc as they thought they were getting one over on us.

They wanted Barada and Jason Wilcox because they thought it would be able to give them a clue how to run a football club. They think they can just copy ideas and when it doesn’t work out resort back to their comfort zone of hiring one of Taggert’s sycophants. Lather rinse and repeat.

Surely you mean rags are the only club to put the manager on a 3 or 6 month probation period.

Sorry but the evidence is that a little of the interest in the nation's club was being lost to Burnham and the managerial job at Labour. A last minute attempt to appoint Burnham failed so a knee jerk decision to appoint Carrick was taken to try and hog the news after the youth cup and with the cup final possibly being good news for Citeh. Good luck with that one.

Yup that’s him, even had his Mrs on social media defending him and saying what a fantastic player he is, they wanted him gone badly and now they desparate to keep him, just going backwards them clowns, only ending up 3rd as the league has been shit this year and they know it

Wait till they attempt the CL next season, be a laughing stock yet again
