Fighting at Wembley in Block 534

There was blue on blue back at the 1981 cup final, my Mum dragged this huge skinhead off the fencing after we'd scored, he'd jumped over all us kids down the front to get on it.
He turned round to swing at My Mum and thought better of it, he even apologised ha

I was in the pub at 10.30am, i managed to meet and share City and Life with a couple of ex Manc blues, without getting falling over pissed, unfortunately there were quite a few young City fans who were leglessly incoherent.
After the game near Wembley Central one hit a young Chelsea fan from behind, he picked on the wrong lad.
Drinking needs a little bit of timing, no use spending all the energy in the first hour, I had a brief chat with some young pissed up lads early yesterday and no way will they have any memory of Wembley, or in reality enjoyed it. Yes I am FOC, but we were so much better at drinking back in the day, I am sure it cannot be just drink to get in that state.

Great day all round. Moons before, then pizza, then one for the road near Baker Street. The Chelsea and even the Tommy Robinson fans were chilled. Apparently they all hate Arsenal and want us to win the league!

I didn’t see any trouble in 536 yesterday but there were more than a few at Uxbridge CC who were staggering back to the coaches at about 1pm who were going to struggle to get through the rest of the day. You hope they don’t end up next to you in the stadium !

I was happy with just the 4 pints but I’m nearly an FOC …..

That said we did see blue on blue at the League Cup final. That argument yet again started over standing up. Sad …..

You’ve got to be a **** in the first place.
Nah.Seen some lovely lads in the past get wankered on it and turn into a grizzly ****. The old 'More you sniff the more you can drink'. Must be one hell of a hangover the next day. I don’t miss drinking at football. At my age now I would miss the match pissing all the way through it.

Sad to say a couple of very lively and noisy blues were “lifted” as soon as they got through Wembley Park station as the sniffer dogs were all over them . Police snatch squads appearing from nowhere !

I was in 534 and noticed a scuffle right up at the back as I went down to the toilet at half time. When I came back up, the stewards were bringing an older bloke down who’d obviously copped a sweet one - had his cheek split with a big swelling and quite a bit of blood. Guy must have been mid-60s so no age to be battling. If some young lad has done that to a bloke his age, then that’s lower than whale shit. Stupid

I imagine it is the guy I got a pic of. He copped quite a few. Probably broken nose and eye all swollen up. Be sore today.

Quite a few involved. I'd say there was about 8 people that didn't come back for second half. Seems a complete waste of time and money to me. Travelling all the way down there and not even see the full game out.

I take it easy on the beer beforehand as I don't particularly trust my bladder lasting a 15 minute walk, potential wait for tube, tube journey itself and then a walk down Wembley Way. Wembley Way is an absolute killer after a few beers.
