Pep to leave at the end of the season

So which team are we supporting - Sam Lee , Pep ( who may or may not have mentioned he is staying in a sarcastic manner or not) vs Mark Ogden and Jack who say he is leaving ?

Quite a conundrum.
Team Pep for me.

And what he says.

Sad if he does go before the 115 debacle is announced as always thought going of his stance on it he would want to be at the helm once it was released etc and give the big FUCKIN TOLD YA SO but I have the gut feeling he won't be

Jack Gaughan seems very much on the Pep leaving side.

“The answer from those inside the club’s training ground, who are with him every day, is that yes, he is heading off into the sunset and yes, he made up his mind about that some weeks ago. They have claimed any validity to murmurs and whispers around the Etihad’s corporate boxes at the midweek victory over Crystal Palace that Guardiola is readying himself for a dramatic U-turn is news to them.
They assume that it is a matter of days before the official communication is made on the biggest single shift at the club since the Catalan’s arrival a decade ago, with City set for a parade and lavish ‘after party’ at the Co-op Live next Monday. And they say significant changes to the backroom staff – beyond the departing coaches like Lorenzo Buenaventura and goalkeeping coach Xabi Mancisidor – are coming.”

From a recent article.

He’ll announce it soon as there’s nothing to play for.

So I’d expect if we don’t beat Bournemouth on Tuesday we’ll get the announcement Thursday/Friday.

It makes sense really as he knows that if he left it to the end of a contract, that would be the talk all season.
He wouldn’t want that. Team always comes first.

He saw with Klopp how Liverpool died a death in his last season after he announced it.

Been a great ride but all good things come to an end.

Looks like there's a real strong chance Pep is leaving this summer.

I hope not but if so, going from him to Maresca is an enormous, unnecessary drop off in quality. I know any other manager is a drop off but this seems like a greater one than it should have been.

I know there will be some who will be all for it, but so were fans of the team from Salford with Moyes.

I doubt it. If he wants to leave he’ll leave. He has nothing left to prove domestically.

Now the CL on the other hand…
I think the reports coming out this morning may back up what I said last night. The club wont announce Pep is leaving while we still have a chance for the title, it’s a distraction the players don’t need.

I think he will stay if Arsenal win the league and he will be more than happy to fulfil his last year.

I think differently. If the league is no longer possible by Tuesday evening it will be announced Wednesday that he's leaving.

Hope I'm wrong.

Prior to the trophy lift, prince William said something to pep and he put his finger to his mouth in a shush motion. Now maybe it’s the eternal pessimist in me, but was something said about him leaving (IE we’re sorry to see you go)? Fuck I’m just not ready haha.
Several outlets have reported that he said “Another one hey?” And “Well done Pep”.
