You do wonder if the crooks who orchestrated this robbery realise the long term damage they have done to Scottish football. In their haste to create the big ratings final day decider, and ultimately award Celtic the title, they have sent a clear message to anybody thinking of investing in a club up there, or young players, or perspective fans of non old firm clubs. Don’t bother, there is no point, you can strive all season, get the brink of immortality, and then a Sky producer and a VAR official will simply kill your dreams. I have no huge interest in Scottish football and no partiality for any Scottish club, but as a football fan, I think what has gone on there is utterly disgusting, and I feel hugely sorry for Hearts fans, and actually fans of any clubs up there, who might dream of doing a Leicester, because seemingly it just won’t be allowed.
