Him being back opens a lot of options for us both him and Nico can play left back or move into midfield and are excellent at both, Ran can also play left back and wingback. For once we are stacked in this position. He obviously plays centre half as well.
I think depending on what Rodri does we just need a couple of very good central mids and the squad looks sorted. They have to be top notch though.

Such a good player and performed very well considering he hasn’t played since early January. For a defender he is very good with the ball at his feet and being a goal threat.

Can see him being used across centre back and left back with O’Reilly moving next to Rodri next season.

Our medical and fitness staff gets a lot of slack, but it feels like they deserve some kudos for getting him out there last night. I don’t think anyone would have expected his first foray back to be that long or so soon. Obviously, Josko as well for putting in the work as he was really box to box last night.
