He was all set to play for Scotland, turned up for training, then reconsidered and decided to back himself instead to play for the country of his birth; a decision taken at a time when there was no guarantee that would happen. The lad wants to be a winner and he will only improve , and what will help him is playing less minutes due to being in a stronger squad so he is fresh along with playing with better players.

I wish some would stop comparing him to KDB. KDB was uniquely brilliant and we won’t see another form of him for years. Anderson is still a class player, just shouldn’t be compared to one of the best midfielders the game has ever seen.

Hes getting the KDB comparison as there is a video where Anderson says he tries to copy Kev and that Kev was his favourite player to watch in the league. Then the premier league did a video and Kev was his main comparison and that video showed that the two have a lot of similarities. Anderson is his own player but the similarities are there and from his own mouth he says he tries to copy KDB

You are getting a player who could become a great if you get him for less than the rice transfer which I think you will. You are picking a player up as a bargain as I believe he is far superior to rice.

I’d probably take Grealish back to see him under a new coach if Pep goes, as an extra option in the midfield; completely independent of Anderson’s arrival though - I think it’s obvious EA wants to be here, and I suspect the McAtee fee might have been inflated last summer with a view to us reciprocating this year.

Todays performance was a masterclass.

Grealish is a busted flush - he had his level at villa, tried to step up but wastnt good enough....found his new level at Everton....just another example of an overhyped English player

His lifestyle doesnt lend itself to being at the very top -now there may be reasons for that but its still an issue

No he isn’t mate nobody ever will be…..oh hang on rat boy’s just got 20 assists according to sky that’s the best thing ever :-/, getting back to serious now Anderson’s a fantastic player who will/would thrive with us, Kdb is a level above anybody the prem lg will ever see, thankfully he spent it gracing the Etihad :)
