When i was a kid late 60s early 70s kids always asked if you didn't support City/Rags/County which team from each city would you support?Don't think mine have changed even though i'm 66 now but i'd be interested to see what fellow Blues think, seems to me Blues went for the poorer relations while Rags went for the more glamorous options (surprise surprise).I'll start it off and see what you think
London: West ham or QPR
Brum:City
Sheff:Owls
Scouse:Everton
North East:Sunderland
Glasgow:Rangers

I lived in Brighton for a while in the late 70's to the mid 80's and went to the Goldstone Ground when I could, which was probably about 10 games a season. I was at Wembley for the cup final against united, and I've had a soft spot in my heart for them ever since.

That said, I was always in with the City fans when the Blues visited.

My second team, though, is Altrincham. I was raised on them by my father before he started taking me to Maine Rd. Going to Moss lane wearing my red and white scarf is something I've done since 1964, and I honestly have no idea which team I would favour if they were drawn to play City in the FA Cup.

I'd be genuinly conflicted because both are my teams in equal measure. I have a season card at City, go to games at Moss Lane, and in its way would be like having to choose which child was my favourite.

London , West Ham
Midlands , Wolves
North East , Sunderland
Yorkshire, Huddersfield
South of England, Eastleigh ( club crest is a spitfire)
Scotland, Falkirk

I probably would have ended up supporting United, to be honest. My mum and her entire side are blue, but if they weren't around (or if City hadn't reached the play-off final vs Gillingham) then I would have gone with my dad's team - United. If not them, I've spent 26 of my 32 years in Stockport so it might well have been them. Edgeley Park was the first ground I ever went to for a game as well. Thank god everything turned out the way it did.

Have been a City fan for 57 years, and they will always be number one to me, no matter where I live ....

The only other clubs that i would maybe consider watching on the odd occasion, if i actually lived there, would be Newcastle or West Ham.
