Pep to leave at the end of the season

The media are driving this to make it harder to sign new players. Pep has always honoured his contract so nothing will change
I've been saying this all along ..they just want rid .The plaudits will be flying out from all the red loving media at how great he was for the PL, a great loss, changed football in how it is played etc etc
Sycophantic Twats

I assume todays presser was recorded after the final as they usually do when games so close.
So can't see him saying anything we dont already know if so

I I don't know how media driven it is. But rumours at this time will have no affect on our ability to sign players. By the time the window opens it will be very clear whether or not he is going or staying.

So do you think he’s still weighing up his City future then, Tolm?
I do believe he's conflicted, which happens when you love something so much.

Bound to get questions again this lunchtime.

If we don't win at Bournemouth, I suspect we will find out one way or another.

Italy, Brazil and Argentina.

Those national jobs are the most likely when he makes up his mind.
Yep, an international job will be his next move. He will be nearly 60 for the 2030 World Cup. I think he will spend two years recouping after nearly 20 years of management and then start his final job of his career in 2028.

I think getting so close to league this year. Will make him want one more go at it. If somehow we do the domestic treble i think its obvious hes off

Yep, he can live the life in Italy and get them to the next World Cup.
I think South America would appeal to him more. Argentina, Spanish speaking, passionate fans, live the life in Buenos Aires and gets to experience a World Cup and Copa America.

I didn't realise that Italy were hosting 2032 Euro's, so perhaps Italy may be a valid choice. They are in a bit of a mess though.

Lorenzo Bueanaventura leaving is the big one, thats Peps second in command if you go by his book and how long that man has been with him, I want Pep to stay but I just find it hard to believe he'd let his closest backroom staff leave and bring someone new in for just a year.

Lorenzo has been with him his whole career.

Maybe, just maybe, Guardiola is coming to terms with lessening the control he has around him and adapting. Sometimes, you're not in control.

I find this reflective in the football played, this year.

It’ll be the same as every other press conference he does where he gets asked by every journalist “so pep when are you leaving?”

Up until a couple of days ago I would have agreed with you and I was sure he was staying. But his recent comments on the situation where he can either barely keep a straight face or he talks in riddles have convinced me he is going.

Yes, he can barely keep a straight face, these days. He can't control the media, he thinks the majority are dickheads and that's why he takes the piss!

How shocked was I to see him having the media, with the knives behind their backs, laughing away at his piss-taking?!

They're both at it. I just think Guardiola doesn't care anymore as he winds down.
