Pep to leave at the end of the season

The poster I replied to implied that the 2 year extension had ALREADY been signed. I agree though, it would be difficult to announce a contract that does not yet exist!
I just read it as his own prediction of what would happen at some point before his current contract ends.

Italy, Brazil and Argentina.

Those national jobs are the most likely when he makes up his mind.

Only my opinion, but Italy's struggling for talent at the moment.

Argentina? Don't think Guardiola would put up with its racism.

Brazil is the most likely out of that lot, with players talented enough to deliver his vision of the national game to the international.

I got told he was going to Saudi, a few weeks ago. Its second hand info and comes from someone within the close security of the team and manager.
I thought it was absolute nonsense when I first heard it. But after seeing how things have developed since then, I can't really disregard it as flippantly as I did.
I have never before had itk info and I doubt I will ever get any again. But, its a little more believeable after the last few weeks.
It would really not surprise me to see him in Saudi. Get paid lots of money, a new experience for him, less pressure and he takes over a national team in a few years

And being in a conflict zone? Nah.

Guardiola has his levels of cope and knowing Saudi are adjacent to genocide, I'd be REALLY surprised if he fkd off his principles to go there.

With Txiki leaving, the restaurant closing, the staff contracts ending this summer and the unusual step of hiring out the co-op, with the parade having a final moment at the stadium. I genuinely think we're trying to rush that stand to name it after him at the parade end.

Everything seems to be lining up now
We own half of co op live so we can use it when we want, no hiring required. Pep has said he's staying so why all the flapping.

Not that I believe the Pep to Saudi rumour at all, but his eldest daughter is a grown woman with a boyfriend and her own life, and his youngest daughter lives with her mum in Barcelona. So I don't know where you got the idea Pep would drag his family along to Saudi and "suffer their culture" like you say
He likes a pint too much to go to Saudi.

Can't ever see him going to Saudi simply because its a shite league full of past-its making a last fortune

I suspect Pep Loves football more than money

Lorenzo Bueanaventura leaving is the big one, thats Peps second in command if you go by his book and how long that man has been with him, I want Pep to stay but I just find it hard to believe he'd let his closest backroom staff leave and bring someone new in for just a year.

Lorenzo has been with him his whole career.
Tixi was bigger

Going to be highly amusing when Pep sits down for his first press conference on the pre-season tour without having ever actually addressed any of the rumours.

It would be the perfect way to deal with the situation (if indeed he is staying).
I wonder what the first question from the cockroaches would be? lol!

Up until a couple of days ago I would have agreed with you and I was sure he was staying. But his recent comments on the situation where he can either barely keep a straight face or he talks in riddles have convinced me he is going.
When he was asked are you staying next season He said "yes". Why do people think this means he's off?
