Maresca seemed a bit dull at Chelsea, quite defensive. Heard rumours of him being a bit pectulant, admitted it was Simon Jordan, so could be a bag of shite?

I know this is controversial, but Klopp wouldn't be a bad shout. I still think he has work to do in the PL. He's won the CL and PL twice, probably would have won more if it wasn't for the Pep.

I think its worth a conversation.

Simon Jordon is mates with a couple of members of Chelsea’s senior leadership. He is very biased towards them.

Yep, have to agree. They’ve kept a lid on it until the team did what they needed to do, so it’s not too bad the timing.

Personally if he wasn’t going to extend beyond next season then I prefer him to go now. The squad is young and in the right place, a much better handover than some of the other long term managers who have left in the last decade and a half.

You’re not getting it. Chelsea is a shit show. Potter isn’t a bad coach. Maresca isn’t. Chelsea is the worst place to coach.

We are different. If Maresca comes in on Pep’s call, it’s because pep knows his qualities. We are completely different to Chelsea. Trust the process.

Truth be told he’s probably the best available.
Whoever we get it’ll be a downgrade but the way we run the club we’ll give him the very best chance to succeed.
