That's my issue, holt (backed by the mail, who love to undermine City) should have kept it quiet until the club went official, and that's why I have an issue with them, like most tabloids, but they are the one on this occasion, who have done the story, the night before an important game for us.

You just told me you understood how tabloids work and now you expect me to think that a journalist would sit on this for another day. Not a cat in hells chance and as I said previously Holt would want this out before any other hack got hold of the story and beat him to it.
Whether we like it or not journalists are held in high esteem with their counterparts from other papers/media for getting a scoop like this and if you saw Skys 10.30 What The Papers say, the two other hacks were purring at Holts article.
Its nothing new getting a story out before a big game but the City players and Pep are used to this sort of thing and should once again give them some more impetuous tomorrow (even today now).
