Pep to leave at the end of the season

Thought he’d see his contract out but not shocked he’s going as tbh he needs a break and we now need to move on as if can’t be every season wondering if he’s gonna go or stay . As for maresca well im looking forward to seeing what he can do and as people have said we are not a ten bob ouffit but a massive juggernaut who now need to show our teeth and get back to blasting clubs out of the windows when we look for players starting with Anderson at Forest .

Yep, I've got married, bought a house, got divorced, ex-wife got house, got married again, and all the while Pep was winning stuff for us

Lucked out compared to you and cancer though - thank God you're better
I felt like this when David and Sergio left. From 2012 to 2017 I met, I married, I lost a house in a fire, my spineless wife moved in with her parents whilst I lived in rented whilst the insurance rebuilt my home. I sold it. I moved on and finally divorced the utter ****. Also, my kids fled the nest and became adults. All in the space of 5 years. The two constants were David and Sergio, amongst the rest. When they left I was gutted because it meant all what I’d just said came flooding back in my memories. 93:20 is very bitter sweet for me, because I’d only just met her at that point and her being there for that moment was so very special - then she became the most horrid bitch you could never want to meet.

I can relate to people living their life events throughout Pep’s tenure.

Thank fuck for football eh?

I just hope he’s still knocking around to give his thoughts on the 115 announcement and I’m glad he gets to manage a game with the new 61,000 capacity. Hopefully with everyone belting his name out.
That’s a good point.
I was really looking forward to his press conference after we’re cleared of the charges.

It it’s true and he’s going we’ll be robbed of this.

I hope this thread doesn’t turn into the nauseating outpouring of grief the Dippers had for Klopp.

Pep could stay here for many years if he wanted to but he doesn’t, he wants to leave!

If I ever had chance to meet him I’d thank him for the many moments of joy he gave me, wish him all the best for his future and then get ready to welcome the next Manager.

If ever there was a "right time", this is it on my opinion. All his favourite "sons" bar Phil will have flown the nest by Monday and it's time to move on. Sad but exciting.

Feel strangely calm this morning.

Its a bit like knowing something bad is eventually going to happen, the fear of it happening outweighs the eventuality of it. Like somebody else posted, it doesn't feel healthy living every season dreading the day he leaves. Now it seems like he is off, I feel weirdly comforted (and even a bit excited) about moving in to the next chapter and whatever life after Pep will look like.

How lucky we are . We have had the best manager in the world for squillions of seasons and now we get a chance to give him a good send off, and after a season when we've won at least two trophies . Pure class that he's leaving on a high . Most managers leave after a run of bad form and with a sour taste on the tongue. It'd be worse if he gradually dwindled and we had to watch the stress lines develop .

As to the future I trust to the club. . We are the best run club in the league and whoever takes over is stepping onto solid ground . Might be a rocky ride initially, as there'll be adjustments and a bit of churn , but long term it's not going to be a problem .

Yesterday I switched from SS3 to North Stand 2 . I loved my seat there and have so many wonderful memories under Pep , but am looking forward to what comes next . Thank you Pep from the bottom of my heart .

This is exactly where I am with it
