Pep to leave at the end of the season

Not enough of a stink being kicked up by the fans about Maresca being next in my opinion but not surprised with the happy clappers in our fan base.
what do you suggest a march a demo green and yellow scarfs oh sorry thats been used maybe abstain from first home game of season whatever im in

Spectacular timing by the cunts.

During a game arsenal were expected to win, there can be no distraction to them.

24 hours before a must win game to take it to the last day for us, infinite distraction to dominate preparations and discussions.

An hour before Pep's embargoed presser (which they were in the room for) drops, where he still went with the stock answer.

They have created a situation where if we drop points (and the distraction may help) Arsenal are crowned champions early while we have to deal with the fallout of the news. Or if we do take it to the last day, the fallout trumps the excitement and build-up to a possible monumental upset.

Or, even if we somehow Do manage to win the league from here, it is almost secondary to the change and the fallout oh fow it broke.

Cunts. I hope Pep just keeps saying one more year as if nothing happened, the pricks.
I look forward to Pep’s book about City and PL. hopefully doesn’t hold back

Think whoever follows Pep would get destroyed by the press after a few bad results, hard act to follow!

I did wonder whether the club knows whoever follows is just going to be compared to Pep, and Marseca is destined for failure - then whoever comes in after him can pick up the pieces.

Hope I'm wrong, hope Maresca does well, and I will give my full support - but I do wonder whether he's being thrown under the bus a little, as he is a bit of an odd appointment.

A few have replied to my earlier post, saying that Maresca had minimal say in transfers at Chelsea. Which is true. I'm just wondering how much say he'll have at City?* I doubt he'll have the same say as Pep presumably had.

*Assuming he's getting the gig, of course!

Clubs announcing a manager leaving during the season affects what happens on the pitch. Liverpool were leading the PL when Klopp said he was off. They dropped off and finished 3rd, this club is run different to others. The team and results are paramount to everything and that comes from Pep. If he is going nothing sabotages what happens with the 1st team preparations.
Well the Club has clearly done a shit job of keeping under wraps! It’s been an open secret for months. It’s not been like other times there’s been speculation. It’s been fuelled by speculation from within the Club which isn’t great.
If I remember correctly Ferguson’s departure was announced out of the blue and the twats went onto win the league.

Not been handled amazingly tbh. Pep obviously wanted to keep it secret while competing for title, but I think the way Klopp did it was better. Now the goodbye is going to feel a bit sudden and rushed.
I think somewhere in the middle, maybe. Klopp's was announced in the January which felt like a long procession that ended up in a complete tailing off towards the end of the season. Pep looks to have tried to do a Ferguson - leave it as late as possible. Ferguson had the luxury of wrapping up the title early, but Pep appears to have wanted nothing said whilst the league title is mathematically alive.

Hold on. So you think that the circus around klopp's departure (which probably helped us win the League that year) was handled well?
