Pep to leave at the end of the season

I knew this day would have to come sooner or later, I just didn't think it would hit so suddenly.
Beyond gutted but eternally thankful, you made a snotty little ginger kid from Wythenshawe's wildest dreams come true. I could never have envisaged in those dark days at Maine Road, this amazing journey we've been privileged to witness.
I can't really find the words to do him justice, so I'll just say this. Thank you, you beautiful bald bastard, you will forever be one of us.

 
Maresca plays with two DMs so if I was Nico G I’d stay if I was him. Might have more game time next season could become a starter
 
Also not that id want it. But anyone think Grealish plays a part next season? I think i remember him having good relationship with Maresca

See reports that they were told they were signing for Manchester City FC not Pep and that Pep differently wouldn't be at City beyond June 2027

The idea the league let us know in January so we could get all our ducks in a row, get a replacement lined up who leaves a direct rival who collapsed afterwards and don't get CL football, and then do a send off before finally delivering their verdict.

If he has decided that this is the time to end it, he should leave. I would have wanted Pep and City to control the timing. Perhaps that was impossible, but it has come out at the worst possible moment for City.

Won't make any difference to City, the players and those inside the club will have known before last night.
 
Hard as is to accept Pep no longer at the club, the replacement being Maresca is far from reassuring. Happy to be a proven wrong.
