Interesting
Why not? What is the big secret? Just say if he's staying or going. It's not that difficult surely.
Interesting
Good luck with thatMedia ban on Qs regarding if he is leaving
He didn’t inherit the 2022-2024 team though. He inherited a team that didn’t win anything. That’s like saying Maresca will be inheriting our treble winning side (which he hopefully will, just a different treble)Here is the year-by-year breakdown of the club's silverware: [1, 2] in a more competitive league
- 2024: UEFA Champions League, La Liga, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Intercontinental Cup, and Supercopa de España
- 2023: Copa del Rey and FIFA Club World Cup
- 2022: La Liga, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Supercopa de España
what did Alonso do?
Interesting
yeah i don´t get it either. IF he stays or leaves ,just confirm it. So much talk around it anyway. Why not? What is the big secret? Just say if he's staying or going. It's not that difficult surely.
Ok. I get it. You really really like Alonso. Better than Moresco I gatherHe didn’t inherit the 2022-2024 team though. He inherited a team that didn’t win anything. That’s like saying Maresca will be inheriting our treble winning side (which he hopefully will, just a different treble)
He improved them in terms of style of play from the previous season. Also casually glossing over the fact that he worked wonders at Leverkusen, beating Bayern to the title and losing only one game all season in all competitions
Want Pep to come out after the Villa game with a mic and start a chant...
'1 more year'
If Palace don't do us a favour and we lose the league by a couple of points, I hope he'd like to win it with this newly built team.
Just Wishin' and Hopin.
Pls do.The Jack Gaughan article from earlier today is a good read. I can post an archived version of it if allowed, presumably not though.
I presume there will be books written about Pep's tenure here which will be good reads. In addition to the couple already done by Pol Ballus/Lu Martin and Marti Perarnau.
What’s one of those?Reckon there'll be a twist in this and he'll sign a ecmxtension.
I’m pretty sanguine about it to be honest.Unfortunately I think we'll get beat or draw tonight and then this weekend is going to be awful.
Season over for me and more so the end of the best ever era.
He's not letting the facts get in the way of his story that's for sure. City havn't been found guilty yet his article insinuates just that & questions whether Pep's legacy & success is valid. We did play with 11 men per game for the last ten years right?Dan Roan is a fucking disgrace, although I don’t know why I’m remotely surprised.
He couldn’t type ‘115 charges’ quick enough for that piece of shit feature he’s published on BBC Football this afternoon.
Do we have any reason to think Alonso wanted to come to City to follow in Pep's footsteps? Particularly after how things went in Madrid? He didn’t inherit the 2022-2024 team though. He inherited a team that didn’t win anything. That’s like saying Maresca will be inheriting our treble winning side (which he hopefully will, just a different treble)
