To call him a "dream signing" feels a bit extreme but I'd love to see that passing range in a blue shirt.

If Haaland wants early balls then not sure there's a better guy to find him.

Not going to say no to Wharton, but this guy is seriously lacking for pace

Hes class on the ball but he's horribly slow and cant cover the ground we need, Kamada does so much running to compensate for him and he has 3 CBs behind him

Great ball player but atm with Bernardo/Rodri we get completely overrun agaisnt a powerful midfield, Wharton doesnt do anything to help with that

But with RANs profile, and I have seen Cucurella do this as well, he may play a proper double pivot, with the LB bombing wide and the LW inverting (Marmoush and Semenyo).

Heck, I think Grealish will be sold but even both he and Doku want to invert.

While I think he will often invert the LB, I could see a wide LB system work as well.

Adam Wharton is not called up to the world cup squad.

Buy him early and let Maresca work with him, he can turn into a monster with the right molding.

My dream midfield signings are

Wharton (6)
Anderson (6/8)
Maza (8/10)

Rodri (I think Madrid want him), Nico G gone, Bernie gone. Keep Kova for depth and experience.

Plus a right back for Nunes depth and im happy with the summer signings.
