Pep to leave at the end of the season

I've written this about Pep.
Good read that, although think it missed the point of circling back to the beginning, where you said the best days you had were actually the rise under Mancini, pre Pep. I think that’s a really good point to make about the situation. We’ll never be as good again as we were under Pep, but we’ll still have great days.

Agreed. The greatest thing Pep did for us was to gift us, week in week out, with the greatest football we have ever seen. He was the master conductor and his orchestra played absolutely beautifully. At times it took my breath away, it made me smile and gave me, my brother and our sons some of the greatest days we will ever live. The last 15 minutes v Villa in the 3-2 and the first half v Real Madrid in the 4-0 at home being my particular favourites. We are lucky lucky people.
But now is the time for change, we simply haven't been good enough this last two seasons and the football on offer has exemplified that

Maresca has hardly the reputation of managing a big club, so what he got Leicester promoted? Lampard has just got Coventry promoted we arent screaming for him?

I knows hes also won the club world cup but those tournaments are hit and miss and its a free for all
Maresca has a better CV now than Guardiola had in 2008, when he took the hot seat at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Stop with the negativity.

We have been rebuilding the squad the last two years, it’s natural.

It’s an actual transition, and not in the sense other clubs use that word for excuses, we’ve genuinely been in transition.

Let's think about that timeline

Monday - travel to Bournemouth after being home for about 36 hours after winning the cup. Story breaks
Tuesday - match day, quite an important one although ultimately disappointing
Weds - probably got home from Bournemouth in the early hours, scheduled day off. Kit release day, scheduled Bernardo video release day

So they're back in tomorrow. There might even be a meeting with the players and the backroom staff - coaches, kitmen, admin staff, etc.

Then a formal announcement might be made. He'll have a presser on Friday and surely won't fancy that bollocks again, so I'd wager Friday AM.
Yeah fair one when you break it down like that.

Just feels massive to us doesn't it so these past few days of not being sure has felt an eternity. I'm not impatient by the way, just starting to wonder if there might be a surprise (although I doubt it).

All in good time.

Oh I'm in the same boat - until it's absolutely confirmed I hold out hope, but I'm also not getting my hopes up too much

You mean to say Barcelona are not just all 100% purebred Cules coming to watch the local masia kids in a mes que atmosphere of San Miguel and Chorizo breath clouds?
i lived in barcelona so is it okay if i act like a tosser for a moment?>>>

only stupid tourists buy san miguel,
the local brew is estrella damm.

chorizo comes from the west of iberia.
catalan sausages do not rely heavily on paprika.
botifarra and fuet are the local ones.
