Pep to leave at the end of the season

Pep’s kids are 25,22 and 17. You’re right.

I was talking about Soriano’s kids, who all go to school in Manchester currently.

And when that school had an anniversary dinner at the Midland a few months ago, I went along because many years ago I went to the same school. Also, there was Soriano who I chatted to a for a while. Nice bloke, asked him how his kids are getting on which was when he mentioned that they love the school but they’d be leaving soon as they’ll be starting a new school in Spain.

The rest is me putting two and two together. He’s a business man who’s been in the same job for 15 years and his closest compadres have left.

But you keep up the hate guys, good work.

I’m not bothered whether we’re a global powerhouse of a football club though. We’re Manchester City and if local lads and girls can’t watch our club because he’s chasing tourists then that’s not worth the silverware the money has brought in.

I’m not for one second saying Soriano has done no good, because he has, but this didn’t need to happen.
I think our Board are amazing. We have a superb team; superb staff; superb infrastructure-but we do have empty seats because some fans don’t go

Ticket prices have been frozen & there are now more seats to buy in the North Stand. So win win - thanks to the actions of our Board. Tourists are welcome as far as I’m concerned & I’m a Manchester born (very) long term ST holder.

That's no different than the melts on here who thought we should have won 5-0 at Burnley. Bottom line is he got a Leicester team that was in disarray back into the Prem at the first attempt, got Chelsea to the CWC Final and Euro Conference final and won both (you can knock it, but what else have they done lately?), and he was here when we did the treble which means he knows a lot of the players, especially the younger ones he coached, and knows the club inside out.
Look at what happened to both clubs after he left

You’re getting confused, I didn’t say that, @domalino replied to my post

“Notice of what?
He bought that apartment before it was even fitted out so he could smash 2 apartments together into a massive one. He’s not renting.”

I’ve posted some information that I know to be true but since you decided to go on the rampage, I’ve since deleted, can’t be arsed with getting into a personal vendetta.

All I know is when Pep leaves he will no longer live in the apartment he has resided in for the last ten years, whether he owns, rents or the club owns.

That’s all I originally posted
It isn't a personal vendetta, I just think what you posted was pretty fuckin big so I just asked where you got the info.

It isn't any of my business but when something of that importance gets posted it pricks ears up.

Things are getting a bit messy and muddled in this thread, too much going on.

Yeah you’re right. I’m not sure the owner would have told him to go about it this way. They will just have wanted results and he’s delivered that no question.

And yeah, if not Soriano it would’ve been someone else, but they can fuck off too . Just look at some of the swings in Barcelona’s attendances before their ground was done up. Full house against Madrid, one man and his dog against the shit teams. That’s what alienating your local support does.

A football club should be the corner stone of a City. I’m not arsed if Giles wants to bring Harvey and Sebastian up from the Home Counties because they’re into football at the moment. They’re welcome, of course, but not at the expense of locals that have been supporters of the club for generations.

An opinion that will divide, but that’s the way I see it.
Think there’s room for locals & tourists now thanks to the size of the stadium. Are you unable to get a ticket ??

There are some really needy posters on here….a little bit like when they throw their toys out when we don’t sign the new shiny toy (transfer target)…..there are obviously reasons for any delay in the announcement ( if there is anything to announce)……waiting until after the Villa match really doesn’t make any difference now that the game doesn’t mean anything…..both City and Pep will have their reasons.
I know it makes you wonder why anyone posts on the is pep leaving? thread when they could avoid the needy ones and just wait until after the Villa game or whenever.

Nowt stranger than folk eh? :-)

I don’t disagree mate. I just don’t like the tourists over locals thing. I think long term it’ll do more damage than good. If we go through a lean spell will the tourists still come? Then what happens if they don’t?

I’m also a local, very long standing season ticket holder, but I’d rather see kids there on champions league nights than holiday makers with no interest in the game other than filming 70 minutes of it and taking selfies. I’m not against tourists, it’s part of the game, but I don’t think the club does enough to encourage the kids come anymore. Membership fees, silly priced tickets for one off games. In the grand scheme of things it makes little impact on the clubs ability to spend money. Partnering with ticket touts and selling away tickets to far too many people that haven’t earned the privilege to be at these games is another.

No, I have a season ticket. I’m not saying there’s no space for tourists, just that I don’t want tourists at the expense of local kids and local fans and that’s what’s happening.

The fans don’t go because the cunts charge £53 as the cheapest available adult ticket for midweek games and often more for weekend games. They charge a family of 3 comfortably over £100 to attend a game. We have some of the most expensive junior tickets in world football.

Yes they’ve done a lot of good but don’t tell me everything they do is amazing. A generation of local blues have been priced out of attending.

Out of all the big names leaving, Soriano is the one I’ll miss the least.

No way Pep is undermined at Manchester City.

Stirring the pot for clicks.

I fucking hate the frauds that write this shit.

A legendary manager undermined by other employees. What’s next? Dinner lady didn’t get a hello.

Fucking scum. Misinformation and bullshit.
how about arteta arsenal scare pep off with future dynasty in pipe line
