North Stand expansion | Trial Event - Wed 20th May (p110)

Heads up that the last day for relocating is apparently tomorrow according to the site, so if you are thinking of it don't get caught out by thinking the deadline is the same as the standard relocation window as it is isnt

It didn’t tell me last night about registering interest for the move but apparently my fathers account had an email from city saying they will be in touch

Hoping it’s true and we can, will save me £4/500 on season ticket if we can move

Is the concourse area in the new stand and the old level 2 (now level 1) all connected?

The deadline for registering interest was a little while back, so might be worth giving them a call

My honest thoughts...

Plenty of space inside the concourses and side areas, but it was only half attendance.

There's nearly no shelves in the concourse, so if you buy a pie and pint, you may need to be a qualified juggler.

The standing areas..is almost Newcastle away distance, but I'm SS Front Row normally so I may just be used to the closeness. And lord, it's a lot of stairs from the level 2 entrance up to the standing area, for those not so fit it's a slog.

Went last night on @julio jordio instructions told me if I didnt go and get pictures where our new seats are he wouldnt let me go to the Stones and Silva with him on Sunday.

We've moved 10 of us together from SS3 (2 rows of 5) and couldnt be happier with where weve ended up, the concourse is huge and although they'll take a bit of getting used to the ordering screen things look like a good addition, my only issue is them running out of paper for receipts like the ones in mcdonalds do every time the kids drag me there.

Getting up to the concourse area on Level 2 is at least 2 flights possibly less than getting up to SS3.

The toilets seem a bit strange as there seems to be a mens one side of the stairs to the stand and a gender neutral to the other side didnt check this fully but not sure about 15 year old miss Gaz going into a toilet filled with hairy arsed pissed up blokes.

Assume the lads and girls moving to the safe standing area at the back will create a belting atmosphere just need the clowns in charge to price individual match tickets properly and we could have a raucous full stadium every week

I was expecting it to feel a lot further away than it did. SJP you feel miles away from the action and can only see the top of the crossbar if right at the back of that away end.

I think the steep single tier actually makes it feel quite close to the pitch still and you can comfortably see the entire pitch. Compared to where you are in the SS it's definitely quite a change but I think it's a fantastic view still and when compared to SSL3 and the facilities there it's a no brainer to move in my opinion.

We sorted our move today and are happy with it, one thing I have never understood is there where 3 options when registering , safe standing , enhanced singing and a standard seat. I have seen nothing since then to suggest which area is the supposed enhanced singing section is, is it any clearer in the ground??
Enhanced singing section is right in middle of the standing section. Starting the back row either side of 36/37 aisle. How many seats wide it goes and how many rows down in the standing section dependant on demand.

Will there be many new season tickets allocated for the new stand?

Seems like window to move into the north stand has ended? So maybe the flexi tickets are all over the ground?

They released 4,000ish new season tickets across the whole stadium rather than just in the North Stand.

I wonder if you could relocate to the north stand? With a flexible gold. I’d imagine it’ll be a lot more expensive if most of those allocated seats are in the Colin bell stand

Could someone link / direct me to the page where you can view & select north stand seats for relocation? I had it the other day but can't for the life of me find it now
