Pep to leave at the end of the season

Assuming it happens today, which makes the most sense, how do we think it will be played out?

Club release material before the presser, then Pep takes all the questions. Pep just does it at the presser, and club release material after. Or Pep does the presser without admitting anything, and the club release material after?

OR... Enzo Maresca just walks in and sits down instead like nobody would notice.

If there is one thing the leak may have actually helped with, is giving more preparation time with the grieving/acceptance process.
Yeah, I reckon we brought forward Johnny Stones media stuff to yesterday afternoon so that we could box off the Pep stuff today.

Very concerning that some so-called City "fans" want Maresca out before he's even been appointed. Doesn't bode well if he dares not to be as successful as Pep. Who needs enemies with "fans" as easily manipulated by the media as some appear to be.
"You can stick your Pellegrini up your arse."
Human reaction to change mate nothing to do with the media don't let it concern you.

You would expect it to be before the press conference.

However, I don't think Pep wants anything to take away from Bernardo and Stones leaving so it also wouldn't surprise me if we still don't hear anything official and he continues to say he has one more year and will speak to Khaldoon after the season is finished.

Tbh, I'd take that bottom one at this point.

Not as a hope he might stay btw, think we are obviously beyond that. But just to not give them the pleasure.

Do we know what time the press conference is?

Obviously sad to see him go and will be very interested in the reason why he’s not fulfilling his contract.
We won plenty before he was here and the infrastructure is there for us to win plenty more in the future so cheer up blues…we will be all right!

Surely it’s confirmed today around his pressser. But as you said, they have a few ways of doing it.

Need to get these tickets sold!

Gonna be emotional Sunday

I find it hard to believe Pep isn't going to want to roll out his catch phrase one last time for old times sake. He'll probably have some additional comedic content and then the club will announce it later, maybe tomorrow even.

If this is to be it, then I hope a press release is put out before Pep's press conference. After the way the media have treated City and Pep during his entire time at the club, but particularly this week, those cockroaches don't deserve their exclusives or embargoed bollocks. City need to seriously reconsider how we engage with the media at all...

Would be quite nice and fitting for Pep if he says nothing until after the Villa game and announces it himself after the match, when he can choose his own words.

Until its official I'm still going to hold out hope he sees out the final year, but appreciate that's extremely unlikely now...

Forgive me if mentioned already

Does Jack get a second chance?

(It’s a statement bye the way just throwing it out there)

We have a big squad so I’m wondering who’s going to be on the chopping block we know Maresca will be honest to players and say you’re not part of my plans. He’s had that bomb squad at Chelsea. Where they were left out and told to get a new club
