Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

We get Anderson, another midfielder, another (balanced) forward and a RB I have no doubt that we win the league next season
Completely agree. It seems as though most City fans are in agreement about the four types of signing we need to make. We'd be a very balanced squad with versatility and depth. I'm really confident that Anderson can fix a lot of our problems, but he will need to be helped by a further signing as it just hasn't worked out for Reijnders.

How reliable is this source ? Much prefer details to come direct from the clubs . Hope it is right for the benefit of all parties.
more right than wrong in my opinion

would be great if we had a source tier list

I will be interested who is in our directors seating area on Sunday. If City want this deal done quickly I wouldn't be surprised if you have representatives at our match as Maranakis tends to fly off home after our last game of the season.

much as i guess you would like him to stay at forest, what is your opinion on his suitability for City?

difficult as we no longer know what City will be like next season.

who, in your knowledge of City's history, would you compare him to?

Pretty sure we will see if the management agree with your approach.

I suspect however that they will have done their due diligence and scouting of him and his performances during the season.

I also suspect that the club will wish to do their business early in order to sort out the arrangements in good time for next season,
see you last day of transfer window ;)

It depends on where you decide to play him, he could be an hybrid of Barry/Yaya he has so much ability he could become a great holder or a box crashing midfielder. With his mind set he will play where ever he is asked to play.

Unless you are super star who will single handedly wins the club trophies / elevate the performance of the team ( KDB , Yaya ...etc ) I don't think the club should pay that much ( +100m) for a single player.

IF he signs, l will be glad to see him wins the Ballon D`or and multiple PL & CL for City.

Not sure if some folks here let their eye insurance lapse... every game ive seen with Elliot Ando in it of late... he's stood out in a positive way and it's not just been this season. He's decisive, has a strong motor, has grit and heart. He's head and shoulders above any midfield option we have aside from Rodri... who's 1) now Real rumored 2) has been struggling all season get back to his best and continues to pick up injuries along the way.

A lot will depend on the player/forest.

I could see us wanting to wrap it up prior to the world cup, so he can focus solely on England.

It's in Forests interest to get the money and give them the whole summer to replace, however their owner is a loose cannon, so you never know.

He looks like a Frank Cannon ....

So , he’s no Jamie Pollock then ?
Think I’ll pass ;)

Maranakis is not a bland owner who is prepared to roll over yes he has made mistakes, but you cannot accuse of him of not backing his club.
