So glad it's all over (title)

3 games in 6 days mate.
Cunts.

Yep, that stunt was the killer blow. Also, Bournemouth didn't play for 10 days.

Some of the worst cheating by officials has happened this season. They were never going to let Manchester City win the title. The closer we got, the worse it got (cheating) Yes, the Everton game was a poor 2nd half from City, but that foul on Doku from Keane killed us ? It's a Red Card all day long and Everton should have been down to 10 men

As I said in the thread, Doku has been outstanding this season and how he gets up and plays on is amazing. Yes the fouls on him have had an impact with injuries, City should be asking why they have turned a blind eye to teams kicking him off the park

But did VARsanal DESERVE to win it? No.

I detest that shithouse club, their fucking skidmark fans and their style of football more than most but I do feel the whole concept of “deserve” is irrelevant and highly subjective anyway. They have won it and that’s all there is to it.

It is up to us now to make sure it is a one-off and that we win it next season and into future seasons, starting Sunday by battering villa.

Up the fucking Blues.

Why would anyone be happy it didn’t go to the final day??…oh we can send our legends off with a nice enjoyable day in the sun. What a load of bollocks. There is every chance Sunday would have been unbelievable. It has to be a coping mechanism for many. I’m absolutely gutted we didn’t take it to the final day.

Yep, it would have made the Villa game a lot more interesting, that's for sure ..... but the signs were clearly there in the ' must win' game at Everton that it wasn't gonna happen this season.

Even in the Bournemouth game some of our defending was questionable, and you just knew when O'Reilly steamed through and missed that great chance just after half time the gods weren't smiling down on us this season ... at least not as far as a title win was concerned anyway !

That's it .. at the end of the day they've ended up with more points than us, so we can't really argue that they didn't deserve it, they are the ONLY side that finished above us !

All we can do now is accept its happened, learn from it, and try to make sure it doesn't happen again next time aroundl

There's a real silver lining that Sunday means nothing on the pitch now, it can be a whole day of celebrating and saying thanks to Pep now

Could easily have seen Arsenal drop points on the last day had we taken them to it; especially as goal difference had essentially turned in our favour after they scraped past Burnley 1-0 at home. Slipped up upteen times this season and looked far from convincing. They fucked up that much we sort of found ourselves in a title race out of nowhere. Added to the the potential 4 years of scar tissue they have on top. Shame we didn't beat Bournemouth and an early goal for ourselves against Villa knowing they had to win their game would have been a real gut check (something I still have real question marks with them over).

Desperate for PSG to crush them now. I'm pretty much on a main stream media blackout currently and would have to continue it for about a month if they somehow fluked the Champions League on top.
I guess we drew too many games- some from winning positions. I always thought Bournemouth would be a really difficult game- especially at their place. They’re a really good side who punch way above their weight. Considering it’s been a ‘transitional’ season, I’m more than happy with two trophies.

Football is just in the mud at the moment

Last season you had an average Liverpool team literally partying midweek in Ibiza & Dubai weeks before the season ended because they wrapped up the league so early

Now we have an even even worse Arsenal who should have won it as early as Liverpool prior but through sheer incompetence allowed us to have a glimmer of hope despite being a team very much in transition.

I’ve just got a bad feeling somehow they will find a way to make it the rags turn next season to complete the red trifecta

If your last thought is correct, perhaps Masters and lackies could try turning water into wine ?

No sure it's been done for a while .

If 115 goes the way we hope, PL in the dock, masters and his cronies may well not have the free run to dictate

Yes, we're spoilt and before the season started I'd have taken that I'm sure. Just feels like a massive missed opportunity. Now it's been confirmed Pep's leaving I don't necessarily think we'll have a better chance next year either.

The dropped points from winning positions this season was 17 or 18 if I remember correctly. Our previous sides had much more of a ruthless streak and would kill teams off. Chelsea, Forest etc offered nothing at ours and still came away with a point. Many games this season I think they've lacked intensity and just expect a goal to come along and only up the tempo late on if that goal hasn't arrived. Beyond frustrating.
