Glad it’s well on the way to sell out mate.Opened up to all Cityzens members now, though they haven't advertised it yet!
Hopefully we’ve given some tickets to school
Kids too.

yep back to 700Algorithm is 100% at play, available seats will double soon
All blocks are reducing on each countThe biggest giveaway is that all the tickets are selling in a few of the blocks and some are completely untouched
239 and 240 not selling anywhere near the rate of the other blocks. All blocks are reducing on each count
The tickets are cheaper next year, you were specifically talking about the Villa game, so if it sells out they have got it right. Then there’s still thousands of fans that have been overcharged, and more that have been priced out of attending, which will affect them attending future games.
I think there is thousands of people in Greater Manchester that just can’t afford to go anymore and they’re priced out of the habit. The sort of people that would have picked up the 2,000-3,000 available tickets vs Palace, or maybe have gone to the semi final vs Newcastle that was half empty, if the pricing was done right generally.
It’s not just selling out one game, it’s about making it affordable in the medium to long term so non-season ticket holders can and will part with their money 5/6/7 times a season.
Those in the poorer parts of our metropolitan county won’t be able to afford £100+ to take their families multiple times a season, and then we have to look at empty seats.
It’s already a disgrace this has happened during the tenure of our greatest ever manager.
basically there is some kind of algorithm that makes it looks like seats have sold when they haven't and even greys out whole blocks, to make people think they are going to miss out and force them to buy quicklySomeone explain wtf you lot are on about with the algorithm. I mean, I know what one is, but not in this context
Inflated queue numbers, map showing less seats available at first and then miraculously hundreds appear later on are some examples.all to generate FOMOSomeone explain wtf you lot are on about with the algorithm. I mean, I know what one is, but not in this context
Yep. The algorithm is having a laugh, firing on all cylinders. I think there are still abaolutely loads left.
Algorithm 2. Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the planner.
Communication is important in selling tickets. As soon as the Pep story was everywhere, and the Pep stand, the tickets started to fly off the shelf. At least City thought to put ticketing links into the Pep Guardiola stand article.
I would put a leaflet on every seat this Sunday about the season ticket prices.
You’re missing the point about longer term habit. If very few games and just midweek are affordable, it’s not going to get people coming week in, week out.
We’re not selling out CAT A games this season, Chelsea there were loads left for example.
With the capacity going up by 7,000 next season, there’s no chance we regularly fill it at the frozen prices for even Cat A games - outside of the Derby and title deciders (if we are in one).
It will. Sorry for all the people slating the club for their marketing ineptness, but it will.If it doesn’t sell out Sunday, it’ll be a disaster for saying bye to Pep.
Yep, looks like it will, but the demand is there to say bye to Pep now, the demand for £56 wasn’t there before the announcements today. The club needs to be very very careful. It will. Sorry for all the people slating the club for their marketing ineptness, but it will.
There are still many games coming up next year to put in special offers and pricing to tempt people to fill in gaps.

Thanks for the replies. Can’t actually remember when I bought the membership. Managed to get on and get one in the end anyway. Is it possible you have purchased the cityzen match day membership after the 18th June last year as that's the only thing I think is stopping you from buying
Midweek tickets for lower categories are cheaper, as it stands, this very game, should it be on the weekend, will be the same price. They have frozen ticket prices and then reduced midweek premier league games. The tickets are cheaper next year, you were specifically talking about the Villa game, so if it sells out they have got it right.
